What makeup colours would suit me?(asian)?

I was just wondering what colours would suit me best eye-shadow-wise, and what colour of blush. I'm really pale for an asian, and i have rlly dark black hair/ eyes. My lips are pretty red (im not sure if that is a factor?) I do have asian eyes, with a barely visible crease. Thanks! What makeup colours would suit me?(asian)?
hey i have the same description as u and for eye shadows i like browns, greys and plums. blush should be the same colour as when you're blushing so it should be a light pink. hope this helps! What makeup colours would suit me?(asian)?
PLUM! plum eye shadow, a nice nude colored foundation, and some light brown mascara(if you want your eye color to stand out black, use brown, if you want your eye to stand out brown though, use black), liquid eyeliner(or if you like the smokey kind, which I don't think look that nice with asain eyes. I have a Chinese friend, she uses liquid eyeliner, and looks super cute, and she doesn't have any crease at all, though her eyes aren't puffy), and a nice soft pearly colored lip gloss!
hmm... thats kinda hard. im like u... in a way, im asian. but my eyes have the crease so its a bit better thatn not having it. but for u, u should prob. get pale pink, or something that matches your skin tone. i have not very pale skin but i use the beige and med. brown eyeshadow. i usaully use the biege one... the lips, put on some lipgloss, blush- biege and just be yourself. ^^
Foundation should have yellow tones in it. Asian skin tends to be smooth and poreless with yellow undertones. Try mixing a yellow tint foundation with a shade to get the color that works best with your skin.

Eyebrows should be defined and darkened with a brow pencil.

With eye shadows, choose colors in soft taupes, browns, peaches or plums and apply the darkest, contouring shade along the upper lashline. Apply a medium shade on the eyelid and a highlighting shade toward the browbone. Choose eyeliner in navy, dark plum, charcoal, dark brown or soft black and line the upper lid only. Since eyelashes tend to be straight, use a lash curler before applying mascara to upper lashes only. Choose a brownish-black, soft black or deep black mascara.

Plums with brown, red or mauve undertones work beautifully for lips. Sheer pinks are right if skin tone is pale. Earth tones corals work well and, of course, a rich, bright red is right when glamour is the top priority. Generally, these shades work well for Asian skin types: Sheer, beiges, pinks, plums, brown plums, bright reds, deep reds, pink mauves, mauves. Avoid strong pinks and oranges on the lips - they make you look hard. Light brown will make the skin look muddy.

Emphasize cheeks by placing your color very high, right on top of the cheek pillows. Focus on sheer, light peaches, corals and mauves and apply blush on the apples, blending toward the hairline.
OMG! I'm asian too! OK, you should use dark brown eyeshadow, blue-black eyeliner, black mascara, warm pink blusher, and baby pink lip gloss/lipstick

Makeup for asian skin?

what is a good brand of makeup for asian skin that can be bought at a drugstore?

also, what would be the right shade? (I'm asian, but my skin is really tanned from the sun)

for example... I really want a nice tinted moisturizer thats not too expensive but it's so hard to pick out the right shade for my asian skin toneMakeup for asian skin?
It's called natural glow or pearl glow or something like that. It's not really coloured but kind of teeny weeny clear beads that makes the skin look smooth but otherwise you see your natural skin colour.

Asian girls rock.

Mei, cantik etc etcMakeup for asian skin?
Not ALL asian have the same skin colour so I can not tell you what shade is the right shade for asian people. But all i know is when your about to buy foundation you need to test it on the top of your hand.. blend it out.. and if you think it looks good on you hand (not too dark not too light but blend in with your skin smoothly) then thats the right shade..

As in a good brand... it always varies from one person to another.. so just buy some moisturiser (tinted moisturiser) that is suitable for your skin type (it will say on the packed if it for dry, oily or combination)
if u cnt find a tinted moisteriser, why dont you buy a liquid foundation in natural tan/dark(or ask shop assistants) and mix it with your daily moisturiser, so u get a more natural look.
most asians look pretty iwht...

Makeup for asian eyes?

Does anyoen have any tips for applying makeup to asian/mono-lid eyes as whenever i do, i find the makeup gets caked up in the crease after a short time and this annoys me ALOT! I can never seem to do the 'smokey' eye effect because of this, but im probably doing it wrong anyway!Makeup for asian eyes?
live with them lolMakeup for asian eyes?
i dunno?
u want to use a primer before you apply your eyeshadow like urban decay eyeshadow primer potion...

here are a few girls with small lids and mono lids that do makeup tutorials...and if u cant get it right where u want it, u just need practice on how much ur putting on and where ur placing it and what brushes ur using...if it spreads too much to where u don't want it u need a smaller or stiffer brush.

its easy to make the smoky effect...u want to do it in a 123 method...first the shade that is pretty neutral or in the middle shade.

here is another girl that has mono lids...

youre welcome :)
go on www.youtube.com it helps alot they also have hair tutorials too and they have alot of ideas and colors you can do for eye shadow
I second the poster who said to look on YouTube. Lots and lots of tutorials there, many by Asian women.

Ok, if you're not having luck with youtube, I have two suggestions:

1. Get together with a girlfriend or two (doesn't really matter if they're Asian as well). Watch the youtube videos together and practice helping each other tweak the demonstrated looks for themselves.

2. Spend an afternoon in a department store, looking at the people who do makeup for the various cosmentics companies. Observe both the way they've done their own makeup as well as the way they do makeup on their clients. Pay special attention to any of these workers who are Asian or do a good job with Asian customers. Approach them and ask them for help developing a smokey eye look for you. You will be expected to buy at least one product that they use on you, if you like the results.

3. Browse Amazon.com or your library for books specific to eye makeup. There are tons out there, which include many sections on Asian eyes.

Everyone's eyes are slightly different from someone else's, so you will always have to adapt looks slightly to suit you (everyone does) but this will be a lot easier for you once you know the basic steps.
I think you can do any kind of eye shadow!!! I wish I had asian eyes. Try to only line the top part of the eye. It gives it a much more dramatic effect.

Asian girls with makeup are prettier than other girls, but they are not as pretty as other girls without makeup?

I think it is kinda true, without makeup, their faces look plain and flat.No offenceAsian girls with makeup are prettier than other girls, but they are not as pretty as other girls without makeup?
That's not always true. Just because you notice that about a few doesnt mean that the whole race is- again- another generalization from a man from another race.Asian girls with makeup are prettier than other girls, but they are not as pretty as other girls without makeup?
well im half white and half philipino.

i dont look full asian im alittle of both.

i dont have a flat face but my mom does i know that.

in my opinion and its not just cause im asian i think latino girls, asian girls and girls of ';color'; are always prettier than a white girl

by far.

also i dont wear makeup unless im getting real dressed up for something and im told i always looks good it just depends on the girl.

some girls have bad complection and they need make up some dont.
Excuse you some chinese %26amp; asian woman are beautiful, Brenda Song, Lena Yada, Tila Tequilla, Lulu on dat nickeloden show True Jackson is pretty
looking odd without makeup (asians) %26lt;looking like a whore with makeup (whites)
nahhhhhhhhh i look beautiful either way!!!!! lol natural beauty or art wise =)
hmm im just wondering how do u look like as u can give notes to asian girls maybe asian girls could do the same with u dude
Make up sucks I don't like seeing any race of girl with a mask on. Though Asian girls tend to be able to wear it without looking like masked magicians
I haven't found that to be true at all. Asian women are beautiful with or without makeup.
A lot of Asian women look better than a lot of other women with make up on.

But that's my opinion.
Thank you for that. So what was your question?

Hey just wondering what would be a good look for asian eyes. I have double-eyelids but eyeshadow's still hard to see. I don't like it when it's applied above the eyes like clown makeup.

Just something nice and simple, nothing extreme (including colors).Makeup for asian eyes?
a good thing to do is to use a white or very light pink and put it in the corners of your eyes and below the brow to catch the light and make your eyes look bigger and then mascara and some purple on the lid it looks natural and pretty !Makeup for asian eyes?

Same here. I'm asian too and i also have the crease. whenever i use eyeshadows they always show so i don't usually have any problems with them. However, have you ever tried shimmery eyeshadows (in pink or purple)? I love them and they don't make you look as if you have too much makeup on
    i'm asian too [:

all you need is eyeliner %26amp; mascara.

put eyeliner across the top lid.

and then on the inside lower rim.

    then two coats of mascara.

it should look kind of like this:

Hi think asian eye shapes are beautiful, I would just apply mascara and leave the eye natural, You don't need any make-up in my opinion.

    Makeup for Asian eyes?

i'm a 15 year old chinese girl and my eyes are fairly big for an asian. i have double eyelids as well. what i want is a makeover of something that will make them stand out. what i usually do is i use my eyeliner and draw at the corners of the bottom lids, or i just do it all the way. is there anything else i can do to enhance my eyes?Makeup for Asian eyes?
do brown or black liner on the top eyelid, as thick as you need so that you can see a black line over your eye.. sorry if that doesnt make sense.

    it should look like this:

    http://access.nscpcdn.com/gallery/i/l/li鈥?/a>

    and mascara as well.

    :)Makeup for Asian eyes?
Dunno how much help this is, but here goes.

If you want it too look natural, but stand out, I suggest lining your upper eyelid from the inside corner all the way out, extending a bit past your eye (don't extend it too much, unless you're going for that look) and make sure it's a thin line. And don't forget to curl and mascara those lashes.

I don't suggest lining the bottom, though. It tends to look a little too heavy for an everyday look, especially on us Asian girls. For a more dramatic effect, you can add some fun eyeshadows, like blues and violets. Or if you want a toned down look, I personally really like using a dark brown matte shadow (MAC Espresso) with a dusting of gold glitter/frost shadow (Lancome Kitten Heel) on top. I find it makes my eyes pop, but doesn't ever look overdone.

Or, even better, head to the department store and get a consultation; but you should check if they have any minimum purchase requirements.
    I'm Chinese too!

My eyes are bigger than the average Chinese but not double eyelids. Since we have brown eyes, you can use almost any color! Go for blues, purples, browns, greens, whatever! I just don't really like using pink though because they don't really stand out very well on my skin tone. But that might be different from you, I don't know.

An eyeliner I LOVE is Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Glitter Eyeliner I think it's called. It's just like an eyeliner but with glitter in it! I have the ones in Aqua Sequin and a white one with silver sparkles. I've gotten many compliments while wearing it and it stands out!

    hope i helped!
I have found that purple and a jadish green is good for asians/chinese.

what eye color that cant go wrong...etc...thanksCan the beauty expert or anyone suggest a makeup style for asian gal w/ brown eye, dark straight hair%26amp;tan skin?
I find blue or green eyeshadow really helps to make the brown in my eyes stand out. But you have to be careful with it, since it can make you look like a throwback from the disco era.

Shiny silvers also work. Can the beauty expert or anyone suggest a makeup style for asian gal w/ brown eye, dark straight hair%26amp;tan skin?
well, i'd go with purples to bring out your eye color, or an orange to go with your skin tone, all in all, go with bright colors, like red, orange, purple, pink, you'll never go wrong! lol...or you can go with smokey black for a night out!
    this looks good on anyone!!
no... fine ok i'll help you try this,

This is more a sharing than question but i appreciate responses, abt being asian and makeup?

As an chinese Asian im lucky enough to have lids and ';some'; crease. not as deep as caucasian's/indian's but noticeable enough. I only hates my fat lump on my lids which makes eyeshadow looks not as good as ppl with creases.

I love make up and its not only abt being beatiful in it, its more into having fun with make up and i thank for my ';some'; creases.

I cant imagine myself having monolids coz to me eyeshadow looks ugly in monolids. Not tht i underestimate those with monolids, Monolids also can have nice makeup asian style with pastel colors and all, its just i looove more regular strong, bold colors which doesnt look good in monolids. those colors will make monolids end up like racoon. Only my personal opinion, coz i also only have ';some'; crease which makes strong, bold colors doesnt turned out as good as those with deep creases.

What do you think abt not being able to apply eyeshadow :(?

eyeshadow is like the most fun part of make up!!!This is more a sharing than question but i appreciate responses, abt being asian and makeup?
Oh, I think women with monolids CAN and SHOULD use a crease color! Dont' be afraid of it. Just practice until you really like what you see. Here's a couple tips:

Use a matte, very light color all over your entire lid, from lash to brow. This will create a nice, bright base color.

Then, look into the mirror, and with your index finger, find your natural ';crease';, where the eye socket is right above the eyeball. Gently touch that area so you know where to apply the shadow.

Then, take a deeper tone (plum, grey, green, whatever you would like), and using a longer, fluffy brush, start applying the deeper tone on the outer part of the crease you just found, and bring it towards the inner eye, but do not bring this color all the way to the inner eye. Make sure it softens and blends as you work your way in.

Take this same brush, and gently wipe it back and forth your new crease you just created, like a windshield wiper.

Make sure you finish with a dark line along the top lash line only. You may have to make it thicker so you are able to see the line when your eye is open.

Good luck! This will work, just practice. This is more a sharing than question but i appreciate responses, abt being asian and makeup?
    Yo.

I'm Chinese to and I have monolids...

I don't know what you mean about not being able to apply makeup using strong bold colors, because I can and I do and I can actually pull it off!

The secret is to create a crease with the eyeshadow.

It also takes technique.. I don't pack on so much eyeshadow that I look like a raccoon or a friggin Asian prostitute haha...

I'm not ashamed of my monolids.

However, my current infatuation is with false eyelashes and whenever I wear them, I have full fledged double eyelids so I guess I'm a hypocrite baha.

Makeup for Asian eyes? Need Ideas for Grad Makeup!?

Alright. So I'm asian and I have single eyelids (which means my eye creases go under my eyelid so basically you can't see a crease). This gives me a hard time because I don't have a 'secure' place to put on eye makeup. I have dark brown hair (not black) and in the sunlight would probably look maroon-brown.

Since I have small eyes I want some advice on how to make them stand out. I have really dark eyecolor. I was thinking light skin colored eyeshadow then darker brown eyeshadow over top. Then maybe I'll add some fake eyelashes to it.

But how is it possible to put on eyeliner for me? If I do, I have to color in a lot before the liner is visible .. but then the lines end up uneven and it's hard to keep a good line around the eye.

I need some advice!Makeup for Asian eyes? Need Ideas for Grad Makeup!?
If you have small eyes, don't use dark shadows/liners. They will only make them look smaller. If you want them to appear larger, make sure you shape your eyebrows properly (this will widen the eye area). Use a light shimmery color to highlight the brow bone. Use some nude shades near the lash line and maybe some brown liner on the bottom lids. Use black mascara and and eyelash curler and you are good to go!

Good luck!Makeup for Asian eyes? Need Ideas for Grad Makeup!?
Use eyeliner on the top lid(liquid), mascara on the top lid. Use a bronze-ish tanish color on your lids like MAC-Honey Lust, or CG-mink.

Add some fake eyelashes. Apply liquid eyeliner AFTER you put on eyelashes. Just go over the fake eyelash line with the liquid liner.
You shouldn't use any colored eyeshadow like blue or pink, but brown or charcoal would be fine. Use eyeliner to make your eyes look bigger.

Anyone have a recommendation for ASIAN hair/makeup for wedding in Baltimore? Willing to pay for travel.?

I'm getting married in Baltimore, MD. Hometown is DC area. I've looked at websites and even done some trials but I'm not entirely happy. I want someone who can do BOTH makeup and hair, or at least a team who can do both so I don't have to pay twice. I'm not opposed to paying someone who will travel to the area. Obviously it has to be on site.

Makeup artist must do eyelash extensions on location as well. This will be for at least 5 women's hair and makeup, or up to 8 women plus flower girl.

The person must be Asian, preferably Chinese.

natural brown colors would work great for your skin tone/hair color. eyeliner does make your eyes appear bigger if you only do the top. if you line the bottom it will highlight the small shape of it %26amp; make it appear smaller. mascara is a big part %26amp; so is the brows. make sure you have nicely groomed brows.
You sound really pretty and you should try using liquid eyeliner. When you do you can make cool designs with it. Try the color black by the way.
You sound like me! I use brown eyeliner and some black mascara to make my eyes appear bigger. For eye color, I use grey, brown, green and pearl.

If u have asian eyes, how do u put on makeup so that it makes your eyes look bigger?

i know i shouldnt but i hate my eyes. im grateful that i could see and all but i just wish my eyes were a at least a little bigger =/If u have asian eyes, how do u put on makeup so that it makes your eyes look bigger?
Yes. Do an eyeliner on the upper lid right next to the lashes. If you're very careful you can even get some on the upper water line. do the bottom , but do not put on the bottom water line, just up next to the lashes. Use a white on the bottom water line for the bottom, to make your eyes look bigger. Also using your dark eyeliner from the middle outwards does a trick for eyes too. Use some eye opening mascara %26amp; always point your lashes away towards your hair line on the end. It looks better %26amp; more natural. practice %26amp; good luck.If u have asian eyes, how do u put on makeup so that it makes your eyes look bigger?
    1. Apply a light shade of eye shadow to the crease of the upper lid.

2 Curl eyelashes with an eyelash curler.

    3. Apply a coat of thickening mascara on the top lashes only. 4. Apply Second coat while first is wet, waiting for just a few seconds will dry it out and will clump it and get in your eye and that would NOT be comfortable.

    5. Use a sharpened black eye liner to the inner corner of the eye and top.

White pencil on the inner part of the eyelid will help make eyes appear bigger.

Gold pencil on the lids and inner part of the eyelid also make the eyes look bigger and give them a nice sheen.

If you want to add dimension to your eyes, add a slightly darker color above the crease.

If you also want to make your eyes appear wider, make your eyeliner thicker towards the edges of your eyes.

Put mascara especially on the lashes near to outer corner of your eye: these are the ones that need extra lift, and make a huge difference in eye appearance.
use liquid liner and draw a line only on your top lasher and then wing it out just a bit past the outer corner of your eye...then curl your top lashes and apply mascara only to your top lashes...this is actually a tip from a hollywood make up artist who does make up for big time actresses like lucy liu and many other asian hollywood stars...hope it helps!
draw a line of liquid eyeliner on your top lid and add a wing at your outer corner. it should look like this:

then apply a pale gold or silver eyeshadow to your inner corners, it will make them pop and draw attention to either corners of your eyes, making them look bigger.
Use pencil eye liner on the bottom and liquid on the top. and bright eye shadow. it opens up your eyes. like shimery and sparkley and also do what gracie said.
put eyeline on the liner of your lid(like that little stip of flesh on the inside of your eye)

    Asian eye makeup help!?

    Hi..

I have almond shaped eyes (duh i'm asian) and i feel it's really hard to do eye makeup..the only thing i can wear without looking ridiculous is mascara. When i wear eyeliner or shadow, i look like a goth or i havent had any sleep (not to mention makes my eyes smaller)..Is there like some sort of technique for applying eye makeup for us asians?

    Thanks

Black makeup on what seems like black, asian eyes?

I have asian eyes that are not too small nor are they super duper big. They are super duper dark brown and it looks completely black. I always wear black makeup only...and I worry if I might look bad with it. I ask my friends about it but they don't think it looks bad on me. What do you think about it?Black makeup on what seems like black, asian eyes?
you probably dont look bad with it but how bout mixing it up a little... try some other colors with different outfits and see what type of reac tions u get... if u get a lot of ';i like ur make-up'; with different looks then maybe wearing colors is more sutible for u.Black makeup on what seems like black, asian eyes?
Black liner looks great with Asian eyes, especially if you do a slight ';cat eye'; at the end. But color is super fun to play with, so you should try some new stuff out. I recommend purples, they brighten up really dark eyes.
i think with asian eyes, u should try to go with a brown color u know on the upper eye lid and on the bottom lid(M.A.C brown eye shadow, they're not too flakey). i use to go with black and its a complete mess with me, brown's good with mascara off course
in my opinion i would try and lighten them up a bit by using a very light color maybe white in the corners and brow line. then use a little darker color on the lid possibly a pale neutral. try it for a day and see what you friends say.
heyyy ive had the exact same problem as you before. but no its fine cuz black actually makes asain eyes look bigger.
if you wear black eyeliner then your fine. It will make your eyes bigger.

    Makeup for asian girls?

I'm just wondering overall what do most asian girls do for makeup? Like eyeshadow color, what type of mascara is the best, foundation (?), how to apply eyeliner (i have pretty big eyes for an asian), you know...Makeup for asian girls?
    I'm Korean. I don't use much makeup.

I find that unless you have large eye creases, colorful eyeshadow just looks gaudy. My eyes are medium sized, but my creases are small. So when I do use shadow, I just use metalics and black for smokey eye looks. Remember, smokey eyes don't look good if you have no creases at all.

Day to day, I might use a tinted moisturizer for a small amount of coverage. If you need more coverage, you can go for a cream foundation.

Mascara is a tough one for a lot of asians. My lashes are quite long, but they are sorta thin. Full n' soft mascara works for me very wel. But if your lashes are short, you may want to use something like Lengthexact by covergirl.

Eyeliner: Just apply black to your top lashline. You can wing it outwards if you want a cat eyed look. White eyeliner to your bottom rims makes your eyes look bigger.Makeup for asian girls?

Wow. You're so pretty! I'm Asian, but I'm not even HALF as pretty as you. I'm jealous. :]]] Well... for emo makeup, I've seen lots of Koreans and Chinese(some Japanese) wear lots of eyeliner and cover their lids with black, and while working their way up, they somehow change and blend it into a golden black. Sometimes, it's even red or dark navy blue. If you want, purple is good too. XD But I personally like the blue, gold, and red choices(purple was never really my color.)Then, just cake your eyes with black mascara. Ultra volume and length. If you seriously feel the need to go all out, instead of black lipstick, wear the purple eyeshadow and purple lipstick. Other than that, a blood red or black lipstick would be fine(although chapstick's good). It looks great, and I think it's relatively easy to do. :]] Stay pretty!*Asian Emo makeup..... ! help me!*?

emo makeup? hmm well i'm asian and i like to make my eyes nice and sexy...normally i dont have time in the morning to do it before work, but when i'm going out for special occasions i like putting a little extra eyeliner on and black eyeshadow. then i contrast the black with a tiny bit of white eyeshadow on the bottom lid and under my eyebrow. extra mascara, great look. i love it =) i dont know if its very ';emo'; but maybe if you put more eyeshadow, or the darkest eyeshadow, it'd be hot! haha good luck!
awwwwww...your so pretty!!! i dont know but you could put black or blue around your eyes....ummmm, its hard to explain but alot of Korean and Japanese girls do it...look up BABY VOX pictures and check it out...just try all colors and all styles and see what you get...i cant see your eyes so i cant help much!!

ASIAN EYES - makeup help PLEASE :)?

    Hi,

My eyeliner just won't stick - it smudges...

There doesn't really seen to be any point in me wearing eye shadow either, as I have no crease!

    Choosing Eye Makeup Colors

    http://geethabeautytips.blogspot.com/200鈥?/a>
    General tip for eye makeup.

Before you put on eye makeup, put concealer on your upper lid as well as under your eye. This helps stop the crease's from forming, as well as smudging.

MAC also has something to help stop this from happening, just ask about their eye makeup base.

I have a really good asian friend, she has said that you never want to put much makeup on your eyes. If you do, apply shadow and liner to your top only. Or put only a sheer shimmer powder on your lid and liner on your bottom lid.

She usually does a thin line on her upper lid...think Marilyn Monroe. And red lips. She looks like a doll, it's so perfect.

If you sweep a white shimmer shadow under your eyebrow, and into the inner corner of your eye, it will make them look bigger and brighter.

Use a good blush to bring definition to your cheeks and help elongate your face.
i wouldnt recommend that those with your type of eyes (which are beautiful in their own way) use eyeshadow at all. but if you must, use something as close to your skin tone as possible. no colours that stand out or draw attention to your eyelid in any way. use a liquid eye liner on your top eyelid, or a gel formulated black liner which can be applied with an angled brush. or maybe a matte finish dark eyeshadow, and add a bit of water to it and apply with angled brush to top part too. extend your lash line outwards, meaning that the tip of your eye nearest to your ears. use the angled brush/liquid liner and extend it outwards. if u are using an angled brush, just extend it according to the length of your brush tip. no more than that, or else you'll look fake. this helps give illusion of a larger, longer eye. use either a pencil liner or again, the eyeshadow dabbed with water for your lower lid. dont line the entire lower lid, only half of it. by giving it the space w/o liner, it enlarges the look of volume of the eye.use a good mascara too and curl. u can also try to draw attention away from your eyes by applying blush/bronzer instead of so much of eye makeup. but i think asian eyes are great, just that one is never satisfied with what one gets, its human and thats what we all are. hope i helped.
Have you ever tried this product?

    http://www.evecare.com/store/eyecharm/ey鈥?/a>

While I'm not Asian, I use these occasionally to compensate for my droopy eyelids, although they were designed to temporarily add a ';fold'; to Asian eyes. When I use them, I find it easier to apply liner and shadow. They're not expensive (I see that they're now on sale) and worth a try. There are tips for applying given on the website. I use a pair of tweezers to help me apply them. For me, they aren't visible and are a way for me to postpone eyelid surgery to correct the ';droop';.
I have a lot of Asian friends who do awesome eye makeup. Check out the new Teen Vogue magazine. Theres a photoshoot with 2 Asian girls, and the have on awesome colored eyeliner, and they look amazing. Do you use pencil eyeliner? I suggest waterproof liquid eyeliner, it dries fast and stays on for a long time. Just draw a thin line with a wing above your eye, that looks good on most people.

    Help! Asian needs makeup help!?

I am Asian, but with large eyes, with double eyelids--is that how you call it? Yes, I am lucky, I know. However, I am looking for a smoky eyed look, but whenever I wear black eyeliner, my eyes look freakishly huge, and makes my skin look pale and drained. I usually stick to a gold color, but prom is coming up, and I still can't find a way to look mindblowing. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!Help! Asian needs makeup help!?
I am part Asian and have asian eyes. I am assumming that your eyes are brown. To get a smokey look for your eyes:

-Start off with the foundation you normally use. Add extra under the eye.

-Use a black/ silver eyeliner on your upper lash line for smokey look.

-Apply a peach or darker cream above that

-Use a dark purple or light purple to make your eyes smokey

hope this helpsHelp! Asian needs makeup help!?
I'm half Asian, but I didn't really get the Asain eyes....my sisters did.....but, if you like using black eyeliner, then you shouldn't use so much, especially if you're pale. With eyeshadow, you should use a shimmery skin color and put it all the way up to your eyebrows, but make sure it's just a peach or something like that. Then, take a copper, taupe, or something like that and start in the crease of your eyelids, just so you can barely see it, mainly on the outer part. You should use a brush for that. Then you can take gold eyeshadow just on the actual eyelid. You should use brown or dark brown eyeliner, 'cause it won't be as harsh a black.
Try a smokey look with purples it is very becoming on Asian ladies. Try bee luscious their powder liner eyeliner in inky violet its the perfect eyeliner for smokey eyes then look at the dimensional eye shadows in the color VooDoo and accent it with the inky violet you will be very hot I promise.

    http://www.beeroyalproducts.com
Go to a MAC counter at a department store, or a Sephora's, or better yet both and have people do it for you so then you can see if you like what they did, or didn't, and whether you can take some good pointers from them (if you are not satisfied with two or three people doing it, keep going back!). My eyes are not easy to do either (I'm part Asian and Pacific Islander), I cannot DO the smokey eyed look EVER without looking foolish and TOO made up. I find light colors to be complimentary for this eye shape and I only line the inside bottom lid and the last half of the top lid (on the outer side, not towards the inside). Good luck.
You should try some different shades of eyeliner, like maybe a smokey gray or dark brown. I use my mineral eyeshadow as eyeliner applied with wet eyeliner brush. Works great!

  • Asian eye makeup...plz help!!?

I have like, ';no eyelid'; and was wondering what type of makeup I should wear on my eyes (what color eyeshadow,if any etc.)Asian eye makeup...plz help!!?
I disagree with the person above me. You can wear darker colors if you like them, but in general darker colors will make your eyes appear smaller...esp if you were to do a traditional smokey eye where the eye is completley lined all the way around with a black pencil. I personally have the ';no eyelid'; as well and I have found ways to do shadows and liners to enhance the beautiful shape of our eyes. I work at Sephora so I have lots of makeup and try different techniques all the time..here is my favorite way of doing shadow though.

Start with a primer if you're going to do any bright colors. You can do any color you want from black to bright green...it's all about PLACEMENT. I like the urban decay primer the best. Next, put a base color all over the eye. I like Stila's Kitten shadow. It's a shimmery nude color...shimmery not glittery. The light base opens the eye....just like black clothing makes you appear smaller and white clothing makes you appear larger, it's the same concept with shadows. This will brighten your eyes. Since you don't have a crease, the distance from your lashline to your eye fold is generally longer...so you can do a thick eyeliner and not even see it. I know you know what I mean..the eyeliner dissapears, right? This is the area that you can have fun with colors or darker shadows because it only shows when you blink. I take a purple or a green after i line my eye and take it all the way up to the point where I can see it a little when my eyes are open. Depending on your eye..when you are looking straight into a mirror you either have a lot of space from your eye to your brows or a little bit of space....if you have a lot of space this is where you can ';create a crease'; if you'd like. I only do this because without it I've got too much skin showing. Feel your eye...right under your brow there is a bone...feel where the bone naturally goes in...this is your natural crease. That is where you can put a neutral tone (brown...grey) to give the eye depth and create a more dramatic look. I never put bold colors here or I get the whole clown look. So...looking into an angled mirror with this technique you should see your lashline...your liner...your darker/fun color..the lighter shimmery or irridescent color...and then the neutral color in the ';crease';.

Sorry for such a long post..but I just wanted to help. I've been in your shoes!Asian eye makeup...plz help!!?
asians do NOT look good with shiny bright colors on their eyes (green, pink, yellow, orange, etc), especially witout eyeliner, while caucasians can smear some pearly shadow %26amp; look beautiful!

i think that wit asians eyes, you should go for darker colors like grey black and brown. black eyeliner looks the best and for eyeshadow, try smokey colors or a mixture of different browns. if you want something shiny, get a metallic dark colored eye shadow

    hope this helps

    Monolid (Asian Eye) Makeup?

What are some makeup tips for a monolid? How can I make my eyes brighter and more dramatic? Also bigger? Different tips for different looks please?Monolid (Asian Eye) Makeup?
hey im asian and i no exactly what ur talking about. use a skin tone eye shadow all over ur eyelid and then use a pearl shade right on ur brow bone. then take a darker brown or grey or whatever you want and put it right on ur lashline and blend upwards until u can see the colour with ur eyes open. then line ur lower lashline with the same eye shadow.deepen the color on ur lashline and on the outer corners. then curl ur lashes and put on lots of mascara. u can also line ur lower lashes with white eye liner to brighten them up. hope this helps!Monolid (Asian Eye) Makeup?
well a good liqiud liner line above the lash and a bright color.
im asian too and i have small eyes

if you tried to use a colored eyeliner like blue, teal, or purple that would help.... also i'm not sure if you're comfortable with this but if you used fake eyelashes that aren't totally like POW big but just like natural long length and then took mascara and put it on ur eyelashes and ur fake ones it will blend in and look pretty natural.. if you dont like fake eyelashes try this tip for applying mascara....put the brush at the root of the eyelashes and wiggle moving up slightly then pull it through the rest of the way... and then for color wise for eyeshadow that doesnt really matter but if you took some glittery eyeshadow and put it under the ends of your eyebrows on your eyelid it makes ur eyeslook bigger...

oh ya and if you use glitter mascara which you can get at target it adds the extra glam. it may not seem like its on there but i wore it the first day and 5 people complimented me on it.

    hope that helps

    Asian eye makeup?

Any good tips for applying eye makeup to asian eyes? I dont have the crease so thats a challenge....I went to a department store two days ago and the lady made my eyes look like I got punched....so please if you have any good advice post them!Asian eye makeup?
im asian too n this is how i do my makeup: use a skin tone eye shadow all over ur eyelid and use a pearl shade right on ur brow bone. then take a brown or peach and put it right on ur lashline and blend upwards until u can see the colour with ur eyes open. line ur upper lashes somewhat thickly with a black or brown liner (i prefer liquid cuz pencil smudges on my lids) and wing out the ends. line ur lower lashline if u wish. then curl ur lashes and put on lots of mascara. hope this helps!Asian eye makeup?
Im not asian...so I really dont have any advice...but I did find this girl that does really good make up on YouTube... she has a website too...and she's asian... Pursebuzz.com ...all her tutorial videos are on YouTube...i've tried a couple of her looks and they come out really nice!
Usually you start with a lighter color on the bottom, and then do a darker color in the crease. On Asian eyes, reverse this. Do a dark brown or charcoal on the bottom, and then a medium colored tone right in the middle of the eyelid. Then do a color closest matched to your skintone or a shade lighter under the brow.
just dont try to reshape them, these eyes are soo pretty and should not be cloaked in makeup.

as with any other eye shape as well
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QW_I91QoM鈥?/a>

    I love this girl she's awesome.. :)

She's from pursebuzz.com like that girl above me said, wow I didn't know she was that popular!!

Lots of makeup for an asian or not alot?

which one?Lots of makeup for an asian or not alot?
not a lot i would go with foundation a gentle pink blush liquid eyeliner and mascara thats itLots of makeup for an asian or not alot?
    not a lot,

im asian and well, i actually dont wear any makeup

but my friends that do wear makeup put a bunch of eyeliner and mascara and basically the eye stuff makes their already tiny asian eyes look tinier... i would say that is a bad thing... ergo, dont wear too much!
Well I'm an asian myself and since we generally have small eyes wearing a generous amount bright colorful colors really compliments my eyes. They make them look bigger and brighter. But stay away from dark colors. They make your eyes smaller and it makes you look like you have a black eye :)
I would say a lot. It's ideal to not wear a lot of makeup, but the truth is that most Asian women develop dark spots on their face. It's a hidden ';secret'; in the asian community.
Not that much makeup. No one should where too much make up anyways. Blush will look cute on you :) Especially if it's a light pink.
it really depends on your face.

    pics would be helpful.

id go with maybe a few of the basics..foundation..liner..gloss.

    you dont need much.

accent your eyes with bright color shadows like teal.
natural all the way... you're much prettier with the least amount of makeup
Not a lot is the best possible way. Too much makeup isn't good at all. Hope I helped :)

    Always curl your lashes

Dont forget about applying mascara to the bottom lashes! People say you shouldnt...its a lie.

    Lash extentions are awesome!

Dont wear too much dark makeup, the heavier you go with the darker shades the smaller your eyes with look so stick to lighter shades a neutrals.

Liquid eye liner is also good for making your eyes look bigger, using a sweep of liner across the top of the lids and extending it out about half a centimetre further than your eyelid to create a flick.

    Hope this helps
dont wear eyeliner cause eyeliner makes your eyes look smaller but you should wear mascara cause it makes your eyes look fuller

    Asian makeup?

Ok, well I am asian. I have pale skin, but it's not that pale. Well I guess you could say medium? Beause it's not so pale that its like white, and its so dark like the tawonese asians. kind of milky. I have almond shaped eyes, not the HUGE ones. I don't have a second crease in my eye. I have REALLY dark brwon eyes that it looks black. What makeup/color and stuff would sute me? I want detailed steps on how to apply eye makeup for my eyes to make them really flaunt my ethnicity.Asian makeup?
k u have the same description as me. use a skin tone eye shadow all over ur eyelid and use a pearl shade right on ur brow bone. then take a brown or peach and put it right on ur lashline and blend upwards until u can see the colour with ur eyes open. line ur upper lashes somewhat thickly with a black or brown liner (i prefer liquid cuz pencil smudges on my lids) and wing out the ends. line ur lower lashline if u wish. then curl ur lashes and put on lots of mascara. hope this helps!Asian makeup?

it's really helpfull since they arn't just one person, since there are diffrent types of asians. Good luck!
well i found this article so here:

';According to Makeup Artist Robert Jones, the following chart will help you select colors that are the best for your eye color (Jones, 62).

Blue: Rich warm browns, warm taupes and soft peaches

Green and Hazel: Golden browns, warm taupes, deep purples, soft peaches and soft violets.

Grey: Charcoal, cool brown and purple.

Brown: Knock yourself out...you lucky women get to wear any color you want!

When you are picking colors for your skin tone, stick with natural, subtle colors. If you have a fair complexion, it is best to stay away from dark colors. For dark skinned women, you should stay away from white or light colors; look for eyeshadows that are deep with color.

    Choosing the best eyeshadow for your skin tone and eye color will help your eyes to stand out. It makes the whites of the eyes appear ';whiter,'; causing the iris color to ';pop.'; I'm not saying you have to stick with these colors for the rest of your life, I know we all need a little variety. But these are the best colors for you on the days you really want to look your best.';

Try going on Kevyn Acoin's website : http://www.kevynacoin.com/

    He's really great.

I would recommend olive green undertones since you're sick of brown and peach:) Try something striking! Like a mauve (dark burgandy red) color on your lips, cheeks, and if you're brave enough dab some on your eyes too!Best makeup colors for Asian skintone?
try some striking colors like yellow eyeshadow... orangey blusher %26amp; pink lipstick..
I figured that they best way for you is to see what is going on in Japan. So I added the links. Though you will not be able to read what is on the websites, you can see videos and photos of different types of makeup and how they apply them. Even though they may not sell the products where you are living, you probably can find colors that are similar!
Light colors works well because asians usually have warm skin tones. I am quite similar to you, light skin brown eyes but brown hair. I use pink and blue.

    Asian eyes: makeup how to?

Well, I have really asian eyes and when I put on make-up its usually just some mascara and eyeliner, but sometimes it makes me look really emo. And also I wanna change the style of it but I don't know how. I don't want anything that takes too much time to do.

Help please?Asian eyes: makeup how to?
liquid eyeliner on top eyelid to create a nice sharp defined look

lenghtening and voluming mascara, just to define your eyelashes, but don't go for anything too heavy.

mix and match, use pencil eyeliner on the bottom, maybe a natural colour like brown? black will do. i find using a bit of white in the corners kinda makes it look.. lighter. i dont use white eyeliner myself (coz im too lazy) but my friends do and it looks good. Asian eyes: makeup how to?
I would suggest leaving black eye makeup at the door altogether. If you are Asian then you probably already have dark eyelashes.

I reccommend you try a white eye pencil, silver eye shadow, and mint green / dark blue.

Draw the pencil along the inside of the bottom of your eye, and fade it out gradually to a sweep of silver down slighty towards your cheekbone in order to stop it looking so emo. Then simply coat the top eyelid with either mint green / dark blue eyeshadow.

Alternatively, if you still really like mascara, try navy to avoid the emo look but still give your eylashes that defined curl.

This photo shows you the general, but not exact, idea :

    http://www.thebudgetfashionista.com/imag鈥?/a>

    Hope this helps!

apply a very thin eyeliner, for eyeliner under your eyes, don't apply a solid black eyeliner but instead dot the line between lower lashes so you look more natural, and then apply mascara.

try to avoid using too much black, with eyeliner and mascara you can try dark brown. if you wanna look natural, choose earthy colour eyeshadow, and remember to highlight your eyebrow bones.

if it makes u look ';emo'; then ur putting too much on...the pics of the stereotypical ';emo'; looks often have girls that wear a lot of eye make up...so ur wearing too much eyelinerand mascara if u want it to look natural...and a lil hint is to thin the eyeliner lines ur making..a good way, if u cant make it thinner, is to get a q tip and dampen one end with some make up remover...there are make up erasers being sold also in a stick or similar to my method...and these are specifically meant for that kind of thing...also instead of a black liner, try a dark brown or a charcoal...ul find the line is a lot softer in appearance.

here is a tutorial for a natural dramatic eye makeup look for asian eyes.

if you look emo then u are using too much makeup or too much black makeup. use a dark brown eyeliner and a light mascara and a suttle amount of eyeshadow. or if you want to keep it really light use fake eyelashes.
try using a thin line with a liquid eyeliner for that clean not-emo look and mascara.. and you can experiment with different colors of liquid eyeliner. =)

Makeup for an Asian School girl?

I am fully asian, with black/brown hair, lightly tanned skin (not too tanned), and relatively small eyes. how should i do my makeup for school? i want a natural sort of look, and also make my eyes look larger, but so that the makeup isn't noticeable.

help please!!Makeup for an Asian School girl?
So many retarded answers by idiotic people. Please don't tell me you're being asses just because she's Asian ('cuz I'm f***ing Asian too). I'm so sick of racism and sh*tty comments. So get screwed.

Now, for the make-up, you could probably put on a nice foundation that's near your skin colour and some powder that's just a tiny bit lighter. Don't overdo it, especially the power, as it wouldn't look nice or natural at all. A lipgloss or lipstick that isn't too strong in colour is also good to use. That's pretty much skin done.

As for the eyes, you could put on a bit of mascara and a tiny bit of eyeliner. Be sure to put eyeline at the /very/ bottom of your eyes so it makes them look larger and not so much eyeliner in other places (if you do your eyes fully with eyeliner it actually makes them look smaller). If you have a double-eyelid you could try and put some eyeliner above your eye until you reach the crease (it might smudge when you blink though, so be careful). Eyeshadow might help too, especially a dark coloured one as it'd match your eye colour.

Most of that is adapted from the way I put on my make-up. However, I don't have very small eyes, so I usually don't bother about the eyeliner too much. I hope that works (I might try it myself some day just to see the effect it has on eyes). Good luck and have fun!Makeup for an Asian School girl?
Try and use peach tones on your lips and cheeks for a natural look!

If you have brown eyes, which i'm assuming you have, green's and light browns/pinks (natural earthy tones) should bring out your eyes! Try to use lighter color eyeshadows! Don't use dark eyeliner/mascara/eyeshadow as it will give the illusion of shrunken eyes! Also try to bring the eyeshadow (a light near-skin color) up above the natural contors of your eyes (nearer your eyebrow) to open up your eyes!
    you'll need:

    white eye liner

    brow highlight color

    brown (dark) eye shadow

first, put the white eye liner on your bottom eye lashes, as close to the eye as possible. (so, basically what im trying to say is line your eyes but only your bottom lids)

then, highlight your brow, (right underneath the arch)

and open your eyes and take a thin brush and sweep the dark shadow across your eye crease (to emphasize it!)

this will make you have more of a crease in your eyes, the liner will make your eyes wider and the highlight will brighten your eyes.

    %26lt;3 hoped this helped!
    Try:

    1. Wash your face. You want to make sure your face is clean. Use a soap like St. Ives Apricot Scrub. Then, pat dry with a towel.

    2. Apply a foundation almost the exact color of your skin.

    3. Next, pick a salmon pink color for your blush. Apply blush in the middle of cheeks. Don't put a lot on! Remember, you want to avoid the clown look!

    4. After that, choose a black eyeliner with a thin tip. Apply a thin line of eyeliner to the bottom of your eye (putting eyeliner ALL around your eye makes your eye looks even smaller.)

    5. Use a neutral, tan eyeshadow; just apply from the bottom of your top eyelid halfway up.

    6. Finally, pick a lip gloss, not lipstick, in a shimmery salmon pink color and apply.

This look is very natural looking and is perfect for school.

    I hope I helped!
that is a pretty crazy question well the good thing to do is probably put mascara on if not who cares about your eyes looks arn't everything.

just enjoy the time being with your friends and dont think about it you don't even need to wear make up to school. its silly and yer you look perfect just being yourself.

    Asian eye makeup tips?

Does anyone know any good asian eye makeup tips??

Whenever i use eyeliner, i can only put it on the bottom half of my eye and when i try to put it on the top it looks weird cos i don't have double eye-lids. and that's only the eyeliner trouble... don't get me started on the eye shadow for non double eyelids.

thanks in advance ;DAsian eye makeup tips?
when you don't have double eyelids, liner on the top is difficult. so you have to be careful. if you want a more definition, try to use a thin line that's very defined on the bottom lid. start gently from the outside and work your way slowly to the inside of the eye. as for shadow, put larger amounts on the outside of the eye, that makes your eyes more defined. eyelash curlers are great, but you have to be careful which brand you buy. my mother used to work and clinique, and their curlers are cheap, but work amazingly. try those. and a jet black mascara, that's for sure.

    good luck

    Asian Makeup?

I'm white lol no Asian decent, but I think asians are so pretty. Is there anyway I could do my makeup so I look asian? I know its a weird question.. but I was wondering lol.Asian Makeup?

Use eyeliner and make the cat-eyes

it makes me look more middle eastern even tho im not.

    and its sexier
Play up your Asian heritage with your eyes. Use black eyeliners for definition and mascaras and eye shadows that will complement your brown or black eyes.

Curl your eyelashes to make them appear longer and thicker.

Choose plums, mauves and reds for lip colors. Avoid pinks, browns and oranges, as they will not complement your skin tone.

Define and darken your eyebrows with a pencil matching your natural hair color.
I agree, but I don't know how they do it - sorry.
Hi. Really? LOL I'm Asian so thanks. Just use very light nuetral peachish yellow colours and it will be easier. And if you want, you can use dark lip sticks like reds are purples and it will be pretty. Hoped this helped!
lots of eyeliner, and fan it out at the sides
oh...well, i personally think that secret to perfect make-up depends on the skin. Asian, of course spend lots of time and effort to take good care of their skin. And, I really love the natural look. Drink lots of water, don't forget to put suncreams on. Deep cleansing, face mask-2 a week, etc...

and for the eye just use soft, light colors that complements your eyes and use black or brown eye liner and mascara. for your lips just use lip gloss. natural looking color that is similar to your lip color. Or when you put the foundation on, just put the left over over your lips, then put lip balm or lip gloss on like pink or orange. cheek blush-use light pink, peach whatever you like. Circle it in the center-make sure you don't use it too much.

Why do asian women look better without makeup than white women?

I would question the validity of your premise. I'm sure SOME Asian women look better than SOME white women (or any other color) without makeup; it seems very illogical to state that all women of any racial makeup share ANY characteristic. Come to think of it, it borders on bigotry, or at least prejudice. which by definition is forming an opinion about something without reason. Why do asian women look better without makeup than white women?
no there not asian are ugly w/ or w/o make up. Report Abuse
Why do asian women look better without makeup than white women?
Our society is probably more used to seeing a Caucasion rather than Asian. And we have a smoother complextion. Caucasion women try to get a darker tan, while Asians already have tan skin.
they dont most of the time.
Some do, some don't- it depends on the woman.
    It's the exotic look.
coz we have natural beauty we dont need make up
some white women wear makeup to make their eyes look slanted asian women already have that

besides that i dont really know what your talking about.....
    Because their naturally beautifully
    cuz dare purdeee
    LOL you playin' right?
The shape of their eyes are pretty without makeup.
Its what we eat. we eat red meats and them mostly plants. Not saying they don't eat meat. I'm just saying we eat more of it. Then. When we sweat. we sweat out dead animals. They sweat out plants. Now. Ask yourself.. Which sounds better for the skin, hair, and all around body.
Because they have beautiful skin,it's so flawless.
Because they're hotter than white women.
i also think usually they overall have better skin than white women... it seems more evenly toned too... and tighter... haha
because of our sunkissed skin tone %26amp; it's almost pores less- making us looks great even without make up!
maybe coz we have darker features (black hair with brown eyes) and they tend to stand out more

but i think anyone can be pretty without make-up. Natural is best :)
because we have natural beauty. i wear no makeup and im 15 and i can look 7
because there are no azns that wear make up so when they do they look weird... no offence but the white people wear maeup all the time so people just get used to it. but it also depends on their face. azn people tend to have skinny faces so it looks weird with makeup...

me im part german and part vietnamese, and I donn't wear makeup often, but when i do, my friends say skip teh makeup.

also asian women have different facial structures and skin types. if you notice, asians have tan skin and its tight and not so fat[once again.. no offence to anyone.] whtie women have totally different faces.

wahat im trying to say is... it depends on their face... yeah...
Because society has this standard as to what white women are supposed to look, which is ridiculously high. I know a girl whose Filipino and she wears NO make-up and is absolutely gorgeous... whereas I doubt any of my white friends would ever do that. Maybe it's because they're told they're supposed to look a certain way, whereas the Asian girl is proud of who she really is?
Because Caucasians don't have as much elasticity in their skin, so they age early.
The majority of Asian women have less acne than Caucasian women do.
because some white women are just bone ugly
What are you smoking? Seriously? I am hot regardless.
    Are you an Asian woman?
because we are prettier than white women well at least i am

Here is a great video on how to make eyes look bigger and brighter (:

Good luck! How to put makeup on asian eyes to look bigger and better(PIC)?
    1) Apply shimmery white eyeshadow in the inner tear duct to make your eye pop.

    2) Use a cream color eyeshadow on the eyelid, and a soft brown shade in the crease and blend.

    3) Line upper lid with black eyeliner (wing out eyeliner if you wish), and lower lashline with a peach/white eyeliner as this will make your eyes look more open and wider.

    4) Curl lashes %26amp; apply mascara. I would also reccomend using fake eyelashes because they give that extra 'lift' on your eyes to make it appear larger.
    Ok, girlie:

Step 1: You'll need liquid eyeliner: I heard NYC brand was really good but...its your take. You'll want a really pointy tipped brush.

Step 2. You'll start fro the inner corners of your eyelid, as close to the lash as possible. To far from the lashes and you'll look awkward. :(

Step 3. Sweep the brush from the inner corners of your lid all the way to the outer part of the lid. You can make a little swoop to extend the width of the eye. It really makes eyes pop!

    Hope this helps!!
I personally think liquid liner looks really good on small eyes.

As for making them look bigger and 'better'..

White eyeliner on the waterline helps make eyes appear bigger.

And adding some highlight, shimmer, or a lighter eyeshadow to the inner corners of your eyes will make them appear bigger and brighter.

And curling your lashes well and applying waterproof mascara helps as well. I've heard waterproof mascara helps hold curl better. A good top for curling your lashes is to head up the curler with a blow dryer for around 10 seconds, then curl. :)

False lashes really help to open out your eyes... or at least a really good lengthening mascara. You might want to use eyelash curlers as well.

When you're using eyeliner, you might want to draw it ever so slightly under your lash line and fill your tear line with either a skin coloured or white pencil.

You can buy these contact lenses called circle lenses and they are designed to make you eyes look huge.

I think you should research into them a bit.

If you want pictures of how to do your eyes then search for 'gyaru' eyemakeup on google
put a light color on the inner corner of you eye
    sure, enjoy.

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/10182825@N0鈥?/a>Asian eye makeup tricks?
What I do (since I dont have much of a top eye lid either) is put some black eyeliner on the bottom of my eyes. Never put eyeliner in the inner part of your eye though, this will make your eyes look smaller. Also, to spice things up a bit, I find it very flattering to extend the eyeliner on the outside the eye just a little bit. Try it, it looks nice!

Also, since I am half-Asian, I wear blue contacts. But if you are full Asian, you may not be able to get away with this look because it may look too fake.

I don't usually wear eyeshadow, because it looks too messy and they are hard to work with, again, because of the lack of crease in the eye lid.

    Hope that helped! xoxo

    :)
I think if you try and focus on the lash line, use a vibrant color eyeliner to make your eyes PURRRRRFECT! But if you want to create the illusion of a lid, feel for the place where people's eyes usually crease--the top of the eyeball--and stroke lightly with a dark eyeshadow. And also, tons of lengthening mascara works great on your lashes.

I dunno what shade exactly, but I do know that when picking an eyebrow pencil, the colour should be 1 tone lighter than your brows.

If you want to get a good match and brand you should go to a department store where the women who sell cosmetics at the counter could help you and tell you what's best.

Anyone know of a website that can give makeup tips on how to make an Asian girls eyes appear to have a crease?

would like to learn how to make eyes appear to have a crease in them such as a caucasian person would have. Do not know how to apply eyeshadow or what colors would be bestAnyone know of a website that can give makeup tips on how to make an Asian girls eyes appear to have a crease?
I think we just going to have to accept what we were equipped with, but surgery could be an answer. As for me, I try the smoky eyes. Separate your eyelid into three section, the bottom part should have the darkest shade, the second part which is right above the crease should be one shade lighter, and the top part especially by the eyebrows should have a very light shade. color the bottom part of the lid with a dark shade around mostly the corner of your eyes. It's very hard to describe, but here's this website to this girl's blog, I think she explains it best, plus she also uses fake lash which is a good tool to make your eyes seem bigger.

Does anyone know any good asian eye makeup tips??

Whenever i use eyeliner, i can only put it on the bottom half of my eye and when i try to put it on the top it looks weird cos i don't have double eye-lids. and that's only the eyeliner trouble... don't get me started on the eye shadow for non double eyelids.

thanks in advance ;DAsian eye makeup tips?
i have hooded eyes aswell (thanks to asian blood in the family) and they can be a pain in the butt with eye shadow. i love using liquid liner on the top it doesnt smudge into the crease and you can flick it out and really accentuate the long eye. with my eye shadow i like having a bright colour on top coz when you blink u get a little flash of the colour!Asian eye makeup tips?

    Try this link.

The first step to working with Asian lashes is to curl them since they're typically straight.

    For single eyelids try this:

Receding eyes tend to be on the puffy side, too. So, picking out eye shadows on the reddish-brown shades are almost a must-have. It鈥檚 dark enough to create a deeper look and mask the puffiness. However, you should be careful not to choose really dark eye shadows cuz these tend to make the eyes even smaller. It鈥檚 really advisable to go for ones on the brown shade that鈥檚 not too dark and avoid black eye shadows.

Application: Trace a line across the upper eyelid. Trick is to blend upward and outward.

I know you would want to venture into colours on occasion. You鈥檒l be surprised with just how many shades you can actually use. If you want to be a little adventurous, trying the ruby red eye shadow that鈥檚 a definite eye-catcher.

Application: Simply apply a soft red line across your upper eyelid. No blending required cuz it鈥檚 the line that you want. Note that you shouldn鈥檛 apply red over the entire upper eyelid or below the eyes.

For puffy eyelids, drop the frosted or glittery eye shadows. Perhaps you can experiment on one with a slight shimmer but that鈥檚 it. Reason is cuz it鈥檒l only put emphasis on eyelids. What we are trying to achieve is to tone it down, yea?

Then comes the highlighting part. We want to create a bit of depth by focusing on the brow bone area. A pale eye shadow or white can do the job. Apply the eye shadow from the arch of your eyebrow, along the brow bone, outwards. This will highlight that area, leaving the lid with darker eye shadow looking deeper than it really is.

For a finishing touch, apply mascara on the lower lashes first cuz it鈥檚 easier then apply several coats to achieve a thicker lash. Use a lash curler to create a more lengthier lash. Thick lashes help make eyes look wider.

    Have fun!
