What are the most flattering ways to apply makeup to Asian eyes?

What are best ways, step by step, to apply eye make up on almond shaped Asian eyes? These eyes turn up at the ends, and have a fold in the lid.

Ok I'm going to assume your eye has a fold and give you advice from there.

My eye makeup regiment is really simple, and I believe that's the best way to go for Asian eyes. Too much often just makes our eyes look smaller or looks harsh against our skin tone.

1. Curl your eyelashes. Curly eyelashes do wonders for making eyes appear bigger.

2. Choose out an eyeliner, preferably one in a color that complements your skin tone. I use Clinique Quickliner in dark chocolate, but I've heard that purples, light golds, and lighter browns also look nice. Apply the eyeliner to the top of the lid right above the top lashline and kind of feather it out at the corners. If you want to line the bottom of your eyes, don't line all the way as that will only make your eyes look smaller. Just line a little bit past the outer corner.

3. Apply lots of mascara. Asian eyelashes are typically straight, short, and sometimes thin. You'll want to use a mascara that lengthens and curls.

And there it is, my eye makeup regimen. I tend to stay away from eyeshadow because I've yet to find a color that doesn't look harsh on my skin, or causes me to look like a deranged showgirl. If you do want to use eyeshadow I'd suggest avoiding blue unless you have really light colored skin. What are the most flattering ways to apply makeup to Asian eyes?
Go into your local MAC store. They will show you all the techniques on how to do that. It's really all about the brushes you use
Try a smokey colour shadow for the eyelid with a very thin line of eyeliner on the top of bottom of the eye (pic below)

Or apply a thin line of liquid eyeliner to the top only.
I am not Asian so I have no personal experience but, I ran across some videos on youtube and there are many more. There are so many beautiful looks you can achieve.

deffinetly the smokey eye look. Also if you take liquid black eyeliner and wing it out at the corners, i seen this done on girls with eyes like that and it looks GORGEOUS. If your gonna wing it dont use to much mascara. I dont think to much mascara on asian girls eyes looks good because they already have so much going for them in the eye area it would be to much... =-)
