Asian makeup?

well I'm 16 [%26amp;obviously Asian] so i was wondering what is the best type of foundation/powder... [I'm not too sure what all that means] but if anyone could recommend some brands that would be helpful ^-^ so far i have tried clinique powder and im not too satisfied with it because my skin looks dry in some areas and it smells funky too %26gt;-%26lt;

well any help would be greatly appreciatedAsian makeup?
I would suggest you try

-FaceShop: very popular brand in asia, it started in Korea and focuses on natural looking makeup

-Shiseido: High end makeup that has good colours but limited products

-Missha: again, very popular and have an EXTENSIVE range of colours for foundation/powder

-MAC: great for concealers and they have the most amazing colours sure to make any skintoneAsian makeup?
I agree, CoverGirl is an inexpensive brand that's a lot better than more expensive brands. Their products work well... check them out. GL :)
I would try any of Estee Lauder's brands, i.e. Estee Lauder, MAC, Aveda, or Clinique. They're great quality products and they don't test on animals. I personally use Estee Lauder make-up and Aveda hair products.
cover girl is really good.
I am not Asian, but I would recommend Shiseido. It's a japanese makeup brand.
Try Shideido or Biotherm...

How can I do my makeup to bring out my eyes and make them look less asian?

Ok for startes I AM NOT ASIAN OR ANY TYPE OF ASIAN i just have small eyes. A lot of people say they like the color of my eyes but tht the shape of my eyes make me look asian?? I never noticed until last year when people started saying things and at first it bothered me but now im like whatever f*ck them i dnt care what they think.

But i still notice in myself tht my eyes look asian and now it bothers me and i want some makeup advice on how i can make my eyes pop and bring attention to my eyes you know maybe make them look bigger and less asian?

HELP PLEASE!How can I do my makeup to bring out my eyes and make them look less asian?
I think white eyeliner makes your eyes look bigger. But in my personal opinion asian eyes are pretty. Try the winged eyeliner on top. And LOTS of mascaraHow can I do my makeup to bring out my eyes and make them look less asian?

I'm asian and i dont know how i should do my eye makeup?

Everyday i just put on this bronze color on my eye lid and a lighter shade under my brow bone, a thin line of black eye shadow on my eye crease or whatever, and finish it off with mascara. but i feel like its so basic and boring. and i've also heard that putting black makeup on your eyes makes them look smaller or something? i've tried just leaving the black off but it makes me feel like my eyes arent awake. I just wanna know what other really cute things there are that you can do with makeup on asian eyes to make them pop and look pretty =)

idk if a picture would help so i'll just put a link up.

Weee my name is Andre too and I'm Asian! :)

You're supper pretty the way you are! But try a little bit of brown eyeliner. I do not suggest black because it will make your eyes look smaller. Not a thick line but a thin line, just something natural looking and the eye shadows you do your eyes now is super adorable. You have flawless skin so no need for foundations! Um maybe a little blush like a peachy color. I'm asian and i dont know how i should do my eye makeup?

i think your eyes are GORGEOUS-- beautiful shape-- i would stay with what you are wearing now-- natural looks good on you. =)
    maybe eyeliner?

What types of makeup should I use ? P.S I am Asian?

I am Chinese and I want to try to wear makeup just to see how it looks. However when I tried putting on eyeshadow it just looked weird. Currently all I do is put on some chap stick. Also when I try to curl my eyelashes it doesn't fit right because of the shape of my eyes :/ So I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what I could wear for a regular day. Like mascara, eyeliner, etc ? In addition if you could have some guides on how to use the makeup it would be great because I am completely clueless when it comes to makeup! What types of makeup should I use ? P.S I am Asian?
    watch this video:

even though it's for glasses it will look great on you:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91-EqPzSi鈥?/a>What types of makeup should I use ? P.S I am Asian?
I've heard that Imju Fiberwig Mascara is the best for Asians because it really does lengthen your eyelashes.

It's kind of expensive though, I think $23 at Sephora.

I use a lot of pretty, shimmery type eyeshadows from Urban Decay. They have Shadow books with about 9 colors in each and they cost about $36-38 I think but they're worth it!
try youtube and purse buzz shes asian and fafinettx
If your just starting i wouldnt go straight to liquid foundation or anything, so if you want you can just try a loose powder :D Then add a light pink blush to your cheeks. For your eyeliner, i would take a dark brown or a black eyeliner and line your upper inner waterline, and halfway across the lower waterline, so that you dont close the eye up (thats what i always do) Then take a black mascara and put a couple coats on the upper, and one on the lower, and i would really worry about curling them, its not nessacary. But if you really want to, you might just need to find a different curler, or adjust the angle your using it.

Hope this helped, answer mine if you want to help :) :

use BROWN eyeliners and wing the edge a little

have naturally single asian eyes with a little crease and my eyelashes are typicaly short, slightly curled from me using my curlers alot. oily acne-proneskin, kinda chubby cheeks when i smile... yeh so please help with this?!

i really like the technology of asian brands.. thing is i live in the uk so its a bit difficult for me to get hold of :(

but any brands/ tips/ general products u'd recommend- for ALL categories of makeup.. skin, eyes, lips etc. id prefer budget buys.. that way im less likely to be disappointed. preferably available in uk and/or canada please

    ;)**Asian Makeup Tips**?
gold eyeshadow goes with asian skin and amber blush and wear a lot of black mascara and maybe some concealer with a strong yellow undertone**Asian Makeup Tips**?
For tan skin, try nutty browns for lips, soft Grey for eyes, ruby red lipstick. For fair skin, try sparkly white eyeshadow, and ruby red lipstick, sky blue, mint green, or pale pink eyeshadow with soft pink lip gloss. I'm half Asian and half European, with tan skin, so i follow the nutty brown rule. my sister follows the fair skin rules. Use lots of mascara! Use some gentle scrub for your face at night that treats acne, Neutrogena is great. Google 'make up' and see what it comes up with. i would, but i have to go- sorry! hope this helps!
Look for a good foundation in your color. If you have acne-prone skin, I recommend liquid or creme foundation because it gives better coverage. Get some good concealer to cover dark circles under your eyes and glaring pimples. Oh, and some blush too, not too red but a pink-plum color. For eyes, if you want to make it bigger or ';pop,'; then I suggest you use white eye shadow above and below your eyelids. For other styles, dark green eye shadows suits asians a lot. Remember to use eye liner but do not draw it too big or it might make your eyes look even smaller. And for lips, I think you can use any color you like because asians have beautiful lips. But I think that if you have darker skin, you should use a darker color lipstick/lipgloss and vice versa. It's alright if you don't get it the first time because it takes some skills to make it look nice. Just experiment with the basics and you can improve from there.

I'm using MaC make-up now and it's good but I'm thinking about switching to Everyday Minerals, because mineral make-up is suppose to be better for your skin. For facial products, I use Olay. In the mornings, you should wash, cleanse, and apply toner to your skin. Before putting on make-up, always put on creme (with SPF) first before applying make-up.
Green eyeshadow looks fab on Asian skin! Mac do some amazing ones, also Perscriptives could make up a foundation exactly to match your skin, also try the new mineral makeup on the market - its pricey but amazing!

Any other suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you.Makeup ideas that go with this hairstyle? (Asian skin, green dress)?
I would probably not go with red lips if you're wearing a green dress, as they're both such statement colours. I think smokey charcoal eyes and nude lips would be the way to go, with bronzed cheeks to play up your beautiful Asian complexion. I also think smokey eyes work wonderfully with loose curls - it's an interesting contrast between hard/edgy and loose/natural.

Getting your makeup done at a counter would be ideal - many places offer makeovers redeemable on purchase. If that's out of the question, try some of the following MAC products, or substitute similar products if you have them:

    - Soft Ochre paint pot to prime the eyelid

    - Print eyeshadow: dark grey with slight shimmer

    - Carbon eyeshadow: matt black

    - Blacktrack Fluidline: Black gel eyeliner

    - Shroom eyeshadow: champagne shimmer, to highlight

    - Freckletone lipstick: peachy nude lipstick, lovely on olive skintones

    - Gingerly blush: peachy pink matt blushMakeup ideas that go with this hairstyle? (Asian skin, green dress)?

green would be good just not too overpowering like color up to your eye brows just keep it up to the lid and just use a light green on the inner corner of your lid and smudge it into a darker green on the outside i love that look it's soo cute=] and you should use blush up to you with bronzer hope i helped!!
Gorgeous! I think you should do a pink bronzer! I have this blush from mac that works as my bronzer so I would look into something like that for you to give your cheeks some color. I think a light smokey green eye would be perfect. Use a green pencil/shadow so it's still smokey, but it's not too overhelming.
I vote for the darker smoky eyes as well, with the olive skin, the black hair, dark eyes will just ';pop';with the color of your dress. Be safe and have fun.

LOLZWhere can I find pictures of asian girls that look ugly without makeup on and then pretty w/ makeup on!?
I don't really understand your argument. Isn't it true with all women that there is a significant difference with or without make up? I would say the fair-haired Caucasian woman is more prey to looking poorly without make up -- pale eyelashes minimize the eyes, etc. Asians, myself included, are blessed with thick dark eyelashes, which actually minimizes the need for mascara and eyeliner. So your argument is very weak. Can Asians be ugly without make up? Yes. But so can everyone else!
i cracked up so hard when i first saw this question .... random. i'm a part asian with a makeup-less face, judge away ....

Can I just say for the record that most people don't look super fabulous without makeup on so why should asian girls be any different? Most of hollywood doesnt look like their pictures because A.) They photoshop the life out of them

B.)They have the money to hire the best in the business to make them look good

C.)Everyone gets blotchy skin, pimples, etc on occasion.

And for the record many asian women are still considered beautiful without makeup, dont buy into society telling you everyone needs to always look like a barbie doll. Its shallow and mean to judge someone solely on their looks.

What exactly are you trying to tell her? Your not pretty naturally but look what a circle lens, eyelid glue and makeup will do for you? How about you show her pics of real asian women like margaret cho who is beautiful, sexy, curvy and funny as hell? Or Michelle Yeoh?

I think it's a matter of culture. White brightly glow skin girls are considered those who come from ';upper level'; like princess or some royal people because they don't have to work and go out. People with darker tone of skin are considered coming from lower level who have to work outside (like labor, farmer).
Because Their Culture Finds It Pretty.

any recommendatoins? thanks :)Makeup help- black hair, tanned skin, asian?
    I am a makeup artist.

Asian skin tone varies from porcelain to assorted hues of yellow, so selecting the right foundation can be a challenge. Powder is essential to set makeup and provide a flawless finish; blush may help add contour and dimension to your face.

STEP 1: Head to your local department store to test foundation, even if you don't think you'd like to buy there. If you have porcelain skin you might try a shade with a slightly pink cast; all others should stick to yellow-toned formulas.

STEP 2: Test foundation on the inside of your wrist, or have a beauty adviser apply it to a makeup-free jawline. You want a color that seems to disappear, while it evens out your complexion and camouflages imperfections.

STEP 3: Use concealer to hide dark circles and blemishes. Consider green tones to help neutralize redness and a yellow tone, a few shades lighter than your foundation, under the eye.

STEP 4: Choose a powder shade that harmonizes with your skin tone. For most Asian complexions this means a yellow-toned shade, save the very pale beauty, who may do better with a translucent or a pale beige shade with a pink cast.

STEP 5: Add contour to your face with a hint of blush. Look for shades in pale bronze, subtle pink or soft apricot.

    Tips %26amp; Warnings

Remember that foundation will look darker in the bottle than it does on your skin.

Choose formulas that work in harmony with your skin type. Drier skins will benefit from a creamier foundation, and oilier skins should stick to a water-based liquid foundation and oil-free powder.

Skip foundation if you're blessed with flawless skin - wear a tinted moisturizer instead. Look for shades that blend into your skin, rather than sit on top of it.

Dark bronzers may look fake unless your skin sports a sun-kissed glow or self-tanner has been applied.Makeup help- black hair, tanned skin, asian?
for you i would do likely makeup..gold eyeshadow and a light pink color blush..not heavy on mascara and no eyeliner..make it look like your wearing makeup but at the same time none. also wear clear lip gloss! good luck and have fun!
what does ';wit'; mean in regards to your question?

I understood wit to mean a persons ability to quicly react to comical or sarcastic scenarios, but hey, I have been wrong before.
what kind of makeup are you looking to do (heavy or more natural)? also what part of asia? Southeast Asia, South Asia, East Asia? usually use the same style of putting on makeup but sometimes it's a little different (i.e. double eyelids or not and skin color).

well here is a japanese magazine makeup tip showing how to do step by step. sorry it's in japanese but it has nice pics.

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v470/v鈥?/a>

smokey eye look is in and it looks nice on practically everyone (it does on tanned skin too). in this pic, pink under and bronze/brown on top really looks good. it probably would match a lot of things. you can try different colors and use the same instructions on how to put on the eyeshadow. i usually use a primer/base under the eyeshadow so it'll stay longer (i use MAC Paint as a base). also i think pale (or nude with pink undertone) lipstick (pink-ish) are in...just look for the right color for you.

Links to asian eye makeup step by step (you may need to register to see in some of these sites). some are in english and some are not but they all have great pics (step by step usually). gives some good tips...you can experiment with different colors to see what matches you.

just try different colors to see what matches you most but usually brown eyeshadow matches asians most.

sorry my comment is so random and all over the place.
eye shadow with gold undertones would like nice for your skin tone. or go with a smokey eye look...that's sexy. don't forget the mascara! it will do wonders for your eyes.
Try these and see how it looks on you since you have nice tanned skin, it should work beautifully.

Lips = Mahogany, Wine or Burgundy color (something deep and rich)

Eyeliner = Black or Dark Brown

Mascara = Black or Dark Brown

    Eyeshadow = Browns, Tans, Greys

    Remember.........less is always more!!!
I say. Go with Just Some light Color Blush, Mascara, and Some Black Eyeliner To line half the side of the Eye. It Defines the Eye. Thats it. Hahha. Im Sure Youll look Great. Have Fun at The Dance
Go with any foundation for sensitive skin... it should match with your skin tone or fairly close.

Use any volumous mascara to pop up those eyes. If you want to use eyeliner... stick with black (dramatic) or charcoal (soft/smoky). I would suggest putting it above the lashes (if you have small eyes and have no experience).

For eyeshadow... purple/pink, green, and silver always looks sophisticated on Asians. I would stay away from blue... because many cannot pull this off.

As for lips... maybe stick with natural colour and add some shine... you can't go wrong with that.

    Good luck and have fun!!

How to apply makeup?...what's its basic principle?..im an asian..i have a fair complexion..=)?

how to blend colors for eyeshadow?..pls answer..thanks...maraming salamat po..=)How to apply makeup?...what's its basic principle?..im an asian..i have a fair complexion..=)?
well honestly there is no technical approach to this :P. its like art, you can do anything you want with colors- its best to experiment aroudnd %26amp; see whats best on you! =] but for a great base you should always use foundation (just kind of rub it into skin) %26amp; concealer (only use to hide flaws not rub in). the eyeshadow/lipstick/etc. depends what you likeHow to apply makeup?...what's its basic principle?..im an asian..i have a fair complexion..=)?
eyeshadow is tricky.. try not to make sure it is something that is too bright, go for a more natural look. try a taupe or brownish. try a brown eyeliner and mascara, with an eyelash curler. and for the skin, if you need coverage (for pimples) try a oil free liquid concealer just on the areas you aren't happy with ( liquid usually makes for better coverage) and go for a light bronzer to give yourself a glow and call it a day.. no pimples? skip the foundation and go straight for the bronzer. key is looking natural!
it's quite hard to write down. just try a few things out, just apply little bit at a time until you achieve what your looking for then work on getting like that every time. as long as you just experiment and practice you'll be a pro in no time.
Well you need to find the color that is the best for your skin and you need to test that by applying a few colors to your wrist and that will show you the color that matches your skin.
Make an appointment at a Cosmetic Counter at Macy's Like MAC or Clinique, they will show you how to do it and you can also buy their products as well, The Clinique Make Over is free, I am not sure about the MAC one!

Im asian and need to know some tricks with makeup to make my eyes appear larger. haha anyone kno :D?

I'm not Asian, but I am totally in the know about make-up. Listen up......Eyeliner is good, HOWEVER, there is a rule of thumb. Use the liner on both the upper and lower lid but do NOT take the line all the way into the eye when you are lining the lower lid. For the lower lids, begin lining on the outside and take the line only about half way into the lower lid. For the upper lid, begin on the outside, and take it all the way into the lid. This will give the illusion that your eyes are bigger. However, if you line the lower lid completely, you will close it off and your eye will appear smaller.

Trust me on this. I get compliments on my eyes almost on a daily basis. Use eye shadow, and of course mascara. You'll look hot!

Hope this helps!Im asian and need to know some tricks with makeup to make my eyes appear larger. haha anyone kno :D?
eyelinerIm asian and need to know some tricks with makeup to make my eyes appear larger. haha anyone kno :D?
wear lower liner on the lower lashes not inside the eye...then they''l appear smaller and you get infections.

also try mascara to open your eyes more!
eyeliner not too thick and black mascara
im asian too and i know an easy way to make your eyes seem big. line your eyes with a dark brown (not black!) eyeliner pencil on your upper lids, and ONLY the outer corners of your lower lids. then brush on some mascara and dab a little bit of pearly cream shadow on your inner corners, and your done, gorgeous.
only put eye liner on the out set of your eye then..it like painting hi light the eye brow an the corner of your eyes an vaid u said u were asian so i think a litgh pink or even peach would be good
I'm asian and I love eyeliner..

Just don't like it when I have to take it off.
Underline your eyes and prolong your almond eye shape with a noticeable diagonal line from the outer end of your eye. lol.

Hope this helped and good luck! ;)
I m asian myself, well try to put in golden or yellow eye shadow and use the eye liner to draw a very thin line on yr eye lids and do not do it in your lower lids,it will make yr eye smaller.Use mascara to curl in your eye lashes. This will make yr eyes looks bigger.
Try dark eyeliner (black) on your upper and lower lids and a good bit of eyeshadow.
    eye liner.
I saw a make-up artist put a dark shadow on the eyelid where the top of the eyeball is......where the crease would be. She did this on a Asian woman and it look as though there was a crease thus making her eyes appear larger. I hope I explained that right.
like everyone else said, eyeliner. also, since an asain eye has a smaller crease, use a neutral shadow a few shades deeper than your skin tone. apply the shadow with a small but thick brush, like a pencil shaped one, like m.a.c #219. instead of placing the shadow in your natural crease, find the area just under your brow bone (the actual bone under your brow, not the brow itself) and lightly shade and blend the shadow into a crease shape by following the curve just under the brow bone. this will help to give the appearance of a larger lidpsace and can open the eye. good luck!
    Wow! I'm asian,too.

okay! my trick to make up on your eyes.

    1) eyelinear is the most important. It can make your eyes larger, trust me! Use liquid or gel eylinear coz It's look sharper than pencil. Apply 2/3(a little bit thick, you will see it when you open your eyes) thick of your fold of your eyelid from head to tip (flick up a bit on tip)

    2) apply the dark tone of eyeshadow. If you love shimmer or bright tone eyeshadow, you should blend with dark tone such as black, dark brown or gray.
If you send me a little more about your face type I can email you a few tips on applying eye make up and I can send you some samples!!! I sell Mary Kay.

How should I do my eye makeup? I'm an asian. [pictures included.]?

so im having issues with eye makeup.

its hard to find a good style for asians.

i usually wear my hair tied up,

and i wear skinny jeans, t-shirts, shirts with camies underneath.

    you get the picture.

so how should i wear my eye makeup?

pictures and directions would be nice.

You don't need to much. Try curling your lashes with an eyelash curler and then apply mascara, this will open up your eyes.

Use a shimmery gold color on your eyelids, if your on a budget I would recommend CoverGirl. For mascara use covergirl LashExact Mascara.

i would use a very dark eyeliner
You have porcelain skin..you don't need it. But you can wear a light lip gloss.
u look like a very young teenager...

    advice

    1) reshape ur eyebrows as they look dropy on u, see a professional and learn fr there

    2) use a blusher, pinky but not too pink pls

    3) u have inner double eye lid.. jus like moi..

there're plenty of eyeshadows ion the mkt, cheap to expensive u can use but u do not need to spend excessively.

most of all you need to apply foundation on ur eyes be4 u apply eye shadow so tt it'd stick well and also not go into ur skin...

avoid blue and strong colors like red or orange, dark pink..

u cud be mistaken for having sore eyes or being punched on the eye...

welcome to the world of eye makeup kiddo... it'd be fun..

make sure u use a point makeup remover... i recommend fasio

I'm not Asian but I'm so jealous of girls that are because I think black liquid eyeliner looks amazing on them. Just use any plain black one and wing out the edges, then curl your eyelashes and use a lengthening mascara. Keep the rest of your makeup very minimal with this look. If you like the look, try it with other colors of eyeliner such as deep blue or plum. Good luck!

Asian eyes: Apply highlighter under the brow. Use light shadow on the inner half of the lid and a darker color on the outer half.

    1. Light colors cause the eyes to open, dark colors will cause the eyes to recede

    2. If you have very light skin avoid dark shades

    3. Be careful with shimmer 鈥?they will bring attention to imperfections and wrinkles.

    Asian Eye Makeup Tips

    1. When applying eye makeup for Asians, it is always wise to remember that you do have options. Using a combination of eyeliner pencil, liquid eyeliner, and eye shadow will always add definition and sophistication to your eyes. Make the most of these items.

    2. There are a number of different shades of blacks and browns so eye makeup for Asian eyes does not have to be plain. Why not try an espresso color, or one that has a glint of sparkle in it.

    3. Dramatic eye make up application can include adding a touch of color. Asian eyes look great in shades of plum and raisin.

    4. Graduating your eye makeup from your eyelash line to your eyebrow will help to give your eyes more depth. For this to look great, you should use the darkest shade along your eyelash line and merge this into lighter shades of color nearer your eyebrow.

    5. Another of our Asian eye make up tips is creating different eye shapes. When applying eye makeup for Asians you can use dark colors to minimize the shape of the eyes and light colors to make them appear larger.

    6. Asian eyes are very versatile when it comes to color accents. You can compliment your brown Asian eyes by using shades of pale pink. You can also accent your eyes by using gold and rust colors.

And lastly, here's a great eyeshadow %26amp; eyeliner trick for Asian eyes...

Since the eyelids of Asian women can seem to disappear when the eyes are open, you can add definition by sweeping a medium-toned shade across the lid %26amp; browbone. Dust under the brow with a light highlighter shade to accentuate the brow bone and then use a pencil liner to line the upper %26amp; lower lash lines. Make sure line is very fine %26amp; natural looking.

Hi hun. Asians have gorgeous eyes so there's a lot you can do. Before you start wearing more detailed makeup, you need to get some sort of face wash or something to take it off. It's really important that you get it all off before going to sleep! You should go to sephora and tell them you want to start wearing eyeshadow, blush, maybe foundation [but nothing too heavy!]... and they'll help you find things that suit your looks. I really love how black liquid eyeliner looks on Asian girls, like when it kinda wings out on the ends. Good luck!

P.S. There's a lot of makeup tutorials on youtube. So search for those and you can learn a few tricks.
I totally understand where you're coming from!

I think we are about the same skin tone too. I personally emphasize my brown eyes by using MAC Macroviolet Fluidline which is a gel type eyeliner. You can use any purple eyeliner though, but I find this is easiest to apply and gives a very flawless line. Next I use a purple color all over my lid. Purple contrasts brown, making the color of your eyes pop.

I then emphasize the shape of my eye by using a black or dark brown on the crease. I blend up and out in order to lessen the harshness of the creaseline. Then find a white colored eyeshadow to highlight your browbone and inner corner of your eye, which gives you a polished look and helps you appear more awake.

Find a white eyeliner pencil and line your waterline, it will make your eyes appear larger. Use the same purple that you used all over your eyelid and brush it along your bottom lashline. MASCARA is crucial in emphasizing your eyes.

    Hope that helped!

Emo makeup eyeliner to an asian?

i told i would help my korean friend with (gothic, emo?) makeup, since she never puts makeup

the problem is with the eyes

    she doesn't have any eyelids

how do i put makeup on her?

    any tips advices etc?

(it would help me if you post stuff on youtube...if you don't have eyelids...but typing's also ok :)Emo makeup eyeliner to an asian?
It's funny you ask that because I am Asian, and I wear a heavy amount of eye make-up.

People do tend to think that I'm 'emo' or 'goth' because of it. But the fact is, it makes my eyes look 10x bigger than they actually are.

    Anyway...

First, make a half circle 1-1.5 cm away from where the upper eyelashes start with a pencil eyeliner. Next, take a colour (or a combination of colours), or even the same eyeliner, and fill the empty space between. It might be a good idea to use a liquid eyeliner to go over the half circle you made. Take a liquid liner and slowly/carefully apply it where the lower eyelashes are. And finally take a bit of black eyeshadow and apply it ontop of the half circle on top, and on the bottom.

It's worked for me for a good 2 years now, and I can do it in my sleep XD Sorry if the instructions aren't so clear, but I hope you get the general idea.Emo makeup eyeliner to an asian?
i think you should just add some eyeliner on the bottom eyelid and then just do mascara. black. you can add a little bit of eyeshadow, id go with bright funky colors like yellow, green, or blue. just put a little bit under the bottom outer corner of her eye and then on the top lid. just don't overdo it. that way she looks cute, not like a clown xD waterproof eyeliner works because it doesn't run as bad. then to remove it i use waterproof makeup remover (even if i don't use waterproof makeup-it gets everything off) they're pads that come in a pack of like 60 and you can buy them at ulta or a drug store. you could ask a salesclerk where ever you buy your makeup.
Hello, I would focus on eyeliner. Make her eyelines VERY thick with a black eyeliner (pencil). Softlly pull her eyelids up and put eyeliner right top of where the eyelashes are. Fill any space between each eyelash. Put eyeliner very thick until you can see the eyeliner line without pulling her eyelids. After the eyeliner, it's easy. Just try to put dark eyeshadow on the above the eyeliner and make the eyeshadow to a lighter color as you go towards the eyebrows. I hope it helps!

with the eyeliner, you should extend it past the corner of your eye so it emphasizes it. then you should wear a pink, shimmery gloss or a red one. for the eyeshadow you should go with either a light blue or a bronzy gold.

Makeup for lightly tanned asian with black hair and brown eyes?

I am asian with lightly tanned skin with black hair and brown eyes, which I think you already know since it said that in the question. XD So what kind of shades of makeup would be good for me? I'm not REALLY tanned just really lightly tanned that it doesn't seem tanned, god, I hope I'm not confusing you. I don't need mascara (i think) since my eyelashes are really long. And I don't really wear a lot of makeup, but it's still good to know what colors would look good on me. Something I really want to know is what shade lipgloss would look good on me. Thnx to everyone who bother to help me! %26lt;3Makeup for lightly tanned asian with black hair and brown eyes?
haha you remind me of my best friend except she has brown hair and shes dark. since shes like a tan colour like you she wears usually bronze-brown type of eyeshadow with black liquid or pencil eyeliner. she just tried out purple and it look great on her, the purple should compliment the colour of your brown eyes. when it comes to lipgloss go with a pink thats kind of light because it'll go with your skin.Makeup for lightly tanned asian with black hair and brown eyes?
Any color of eye shadow usually looks good on asians.

I'm korean and I usually just wear chapstick from Burt's bee's. I think either a subtle pink or a little bit darker color would look good.

    Justine.
i think darker pinks would look good on you, it might compliment your skin tone. just use trial and error and stick with whatever feels comfortable to you, or looks natural
Your make-up depends a LOT on your style. But im just going to tell you from my opinion since i think i can picture how you are. (and im half black and half white so I know what kind of skin tone you mean..) Ok well wear loud color shades of eyeshadow. itll make your eyes pop!.(ex. purples, greens, hot pinks, ect) For your lips dark colors will look good. Like a red, or you could go for the really light lips and get a whit looking pink. it looks really good. Even if you have long eyelashes mascara always makes you look better. It just makes your eyes look more...well i dont know but trust me it always looks better when you have on mascara. Even if you have no eyeshadow or eyeliner mascara looks great. So get that eyelash curler going! Ha ok well you also need to do what you think looks good on you. So good luck hope i helped. ;D
Purple eyeshadow looks great on everyone and mascara NEVER hurts, even if you have long lashes like you and I do, it makes your eyes really open up.

Makeup for an East Asian skin tone?

Well I live in the UK and was wondering if anyone knew of any availiable... I could really do with some to even out my skin tone/cover up redness. Makeup tricks for the half-asian girl??

im half asian and im young but i feel like when i smile my eyelids look kind of droopy especially because my eyes turn down a little at their ends(also something I would like to make look less noticable).I have medium brown hair medium skin and dark green eyes. please help me with makeup tricks!Makeup tricks for the half-asian girl??
Eyeliner is the easiest way to change the shape of your eyes. Depending on the type (liquid, cream, or pencil), and angles you use, you can achieve a different eye shape almost everyday. With green eyes, you would want to use the blackest formula possible. This will make them really pop. If you want a defined but natural look, use brown. Since you have an issue with your corners turning down, I would try the cat eye lining technique.

    http://www.makeupsense.com/eyes/eyeliner鈥?/a>

The same concept can be applied to eyebrows. Your look can change drastically depending on the the thickness and angles of your brows.

You just have to experiment to see which combo works the best for you, or you can change it up seasonally. If you have no idea where to start, try a department store make-up counter like MAC. They are usually trained on facial anatomy and can help you achieve a look you like.Makeup tricks for the half-asian girl??
Clinique usually has days when they give free makeovers, you could always go there with a girlfriend and get them done, and they can give you the best tips.

The best thing I could say for you to do short of spending alot of money on unecessary makeup is to experiment with what you think might work for your eyes and skintone.

two words: Eyelash Curlers!!...these are the most important as they completely open up your look and brighten your eyes. i use Shu Umera's ( available at Sephora ) and its amazing..

also use lengthening and curling mascara

-( not thickening since that will just make them shorter and fatter looking. i'm just assuming you also have short, straight lashes like many asians do.. )

    - line the outer bottom corners with white/ champagne eyeliner..not too much. i use MAC's shadestick in taupographic for lining the corners and using it as a base for my lids

    - nude/bronze/gold eyeshadow on the inner corners of your eyes and dark brown eyeshadow on the outer corners, blended in. only if you want..

good luck!!!I have asian eyes. do you have any makeup tips to make them look bigger?
Black eyeliner on the top, and some type of eyeshadow base or light colored eye shadow underneath and mascara on top and bottom.
only wear mascara, max factors mascara's are good, or wear eyeliner/pencil liner/kajal below ur lashes and not inside or try white pencil liner in the corner of your eye
keep lighter color eyeshadows on the lower lid

    Asian eyes with minimal makeup?

I've heard of the whole ';use black liquid eyeliner on the top lid'; (and any tips on that are still appreciated) but does anyone know of more natural-looking methods I can use, especially concerning non-liquid eyeliner (I hate how artificial it looks) and maybe shadow?

If you can find a Japanese bookstore in your area, find Japanese fashion magazines. They usually have ';visual'; guide on ';how to'; make-up including eye make-up for Asian eyes. Since they are mostly visual, you don't necessary have to understand Japanese. Flip through the pages and see if they're useful for you.

Also, if you go to a Japanese store, you might find tools to make monolids into double eyelids.
my brother has that problem. anyways try the eyeliner and make a line on the eye to make it look like a crease.
go to a mall and ask a cosmetician at the make up counter.they will gladly help you find a look you love

you can try that, theres a tutorials for that here:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyIhoWOcfng

What I do usually every morning [I'm Asian]

Is I first apply a TINY bit on concealer on each eye, and blend with a brush.

Then, I put some eyeshadow, usually a shade lighter than my skin, as a highlighter.

I brush this on my eyelid, up till my eyebrows.

It shouldn't be too noticeable, just a little accent.

Next, I put an eyeshadow color of whatever I feel like for the day.

Usually I put either purple, a smokey grey/black or pink.

Then I line my upper lid carefully with liquid eyeliner.

You can do this by taking some liquid eyeliner, brush a tiny bit on a kleenex so you don't have too much, and

slowly feathering it on your lid.

make sure to take your time and not rush, as a little movement or jerk could ruin it.

and don't line it too thinly, just enough.

This will take practice, and precision, as its a little hard to master fully.

Then, I put mascara on, I use the Loreal double extender mascara.

It has a clear mascara and dark one.

Use the clear one first, to lengthen your lashes a bit, as most asians are somewhatly cursed with small straight lashes.

Remember to slowly sweep up, from the base to the top, and wiggle the wand a little so its not clumped.

Then apply the dark mascara, same way.

Let it dry, and apply it to your bottom lashes as well.

now, you may further lengthen your lashes by using an eyelash curler before or after mascara application.

i usually do it after I put mascara on, but make sure that the curler is CLEAN or your mascara WILL cling to it.

and it will pull your lashes and HURT.

Apply some black eyeliner on your bottem eye too, smudge it a little so it doesn't look so sharpied into your face.

    ...

    Done.

    :d
i chink i would try the mary kay XXII pink tojore

Alright girl, first of all you have gorgeous eyes naturally.

What I suggest is just a very natural look for school and a more dramatic look for going out.

    School:

Curl lashes for five seconds. Then swipe on a tawny eyeshadow with gold hints; use an actual eyeshadow bursh for a light natural finish.Apply two coats of mascara on top lashes. I suggest covergirl lashblast. Then Carefully line top lids with liquid eyeliner. If you want a more playful look, use a purple quad eyeshadow instead. It is paired up with 4 colors that will compliment each other. Maybelline new york expert wear eyeshadow in velvet crush. Also groom eyebrows to define your face features.

    Going out:

Time to turn up the heat! Curl lashes like you normally would. Apply a sparkly black eyeshadow with your brush. MAC goes on very lightly so it isnt goth or too bold. Apply mascara. Line top lids, but extend the end of it 1/2 out. This will acheive the cats eye. Its subtle but elegent. Try to keep your lower lashline free of any makeup, it can look too severe on your shape of eyes. For more definition try lining just the outer edges of the lower lashline.

Hope this helped! (:How do I apply eye makeup on my asian eyes...idk how to..some one plz tell....i wud rly appreciate it..thx?
There are so many makeup gurus on youtube that are Asian.

    I'll put URLS below. :)
Why? They look great w/o make up.

You'll want to check out this website:

    http://www.nocturne.com/swing/hair/hair.鈥?/a>

They have step by step instructions and photos on how to style your hair (your bangs might be a problem however).

The first thing you have to do is determine which style is best suited for your face shape. To prep your hair, you'll want to use ';Setting Lotion'; and sponge curlers to get your curls to be uniform (let set until dry, or sleep in your curlers). When you curl your hair, you'll also want to do it in layers as indicated on the website.

When styling your hair, don't get frustrated if it takes a while. You will need a lot of hair spray and bobby pins. Even using this, your hair may not do what you want it to do, because it takes a while to train your hair to style the way you want it to.

You'll probably want some waves or curls on the front top and sides, then put the rest of your hair in a hair net or snood (you'll want to brush it out big so that it fills the hair net uniformly).

Wearing a hat is defferent depending on the hat your wearing. Generally speaking you'll want to use bobby pins to keep it on your head!

As you style your hair like this more often, it becomes easier, and your hair easier to manage. I have a friend who does WWII reinacting and she can put her hair in pin curls while driving to work!

Also, check out this webpage for understanding fashion from the 1940's (you can even purchase some clothes if you have the funds for them!)

    (:
Well...it depends. If its just an ordinary day then I would recommend you wearing little some makeup, go for the neutral/natural look. Check out my face chart blog under ';less is more'; and ';lustrous brown'; for some ideas.

    http://colorizeyou.blogspot.com/

If you're out on a date or an evening event, I would say put on a little bit more than usual. Go for darker shadows that will draw attention to your eyes, because they are lovely = ). For some evening looks, check out ';black is always in';, ';nighttime diva';, and ';forest smokes';.

For a bolder look, check out ';fierce fire';. Hope this helps!
You look really good in all pictures. Wear what ever you feel best in. I like to wear makeup but like you I really don't want to ruin my skin so I just wear eyeliner, mascara, and eyeshdow.
you look amazing in all of them. i think that makeup would be nice for special occasions, but you look fine, and natural without it too. i think you look more fresh.
    Makeup.

As long as you buy a quality foundation, it wont give you wrinkles :S

I don't know where you got that from haha..

If you are worried about your skin getting bad, make sure you take everything off completely at night and invest in some good skincare products. One product that I highly recommend is the BB cream. It is a makeup+skincare product rolled into one. It evens out your skintone while protecting it and improving and it does not have the side effects of most foundations. . You can check out the following posts for more information:

ASIAN EYES : I need makeup help.?

I already asked this question before, but I didn't get much help.

I have Asian eyes, no crease (monolid), and I'm perfectly fine with them. The thing is, I'm kind of bored with the way I do my makeup.

Applying eyeliner is kind of hard with my eyelids because the skin folds under when I look straight, and even more when I look up. When I look down, everyone can see how much eyeliner I wear (which is a lot over the folded skin). I'd like to find a different way to put eyeliner on the top of my eyes because it's hard to get the lines even and I always end up putting a lot more on than I want.

Like most Asians, I have short eyelashes too. I can curl them and all, but you can't really see them because they don't goo past where my eyeliner is so it looks like I don't have any eyelashes. My mascara is fine and all, but I just don't like the fact that it looks like I don't have any eyelashes.

Soo, can anyone help me? Suggestions? Detailed steps? Pictures? Thanks. :)ASIAN EYES : I need makeup help.?
Alright, I've got a few pictures here that demonstrate make up application on Asian monolid or very minor lid eyes. :)

Invest in some pretty eyeshadows, too. They go on and define your eyes better than eyeliners sometimes because they're just more visible. Not to mention, they certainly brighten up your eyes!

Make sure your eyebrows are nicely shaped and defined, too - don't ever underestimate what a difference this makes on your overall appearance! Pluck your eyebrows regularly, use an eyebrow pencil to lightly trace over them, and use an eyebrow gel (a nice one is The Body Shop Brow %26amp; Lash Gel) to swipe those hairs into place. If you don't have an eyebrow gel, use a spare toothbrush, or a finger, and substitute hairspray instead of eyebrow gel. This can make your eyes look a lot bigger and awake.

As for the eyelashes issue, there isn't a WHOLE bunch you can do apart from false lashes - I suffer from the same problem! The best you can do is to invest in a really good, waterproof, lengthening mascara - I like Dejavu Fiberwig Mascara (or ';Imju Fiberwig'; as it's called in the states) because it deposits tiny fibers into your lashes to increase lash length by almost 70-80%! :) This mascara can be found on Sephora.com, Sasa.com, ebay, Amazon.com, etc. - or drugstores in Asian countries. A good eyelash curler is vital, too - you get what you pay for. Shiseido and Shu Uemera make eyelash curlers especially for Asian shaped eyes, and they help your eyelashes get a more natural curl. If you're having trouble holding the curl, gently heat up the eyelash curler with a hair dryer for about 3-5 seconds - then curl lashes. Never skip mascara - it makes a big difference! Contrary to what somebody said above, curling your lashes does not make them fall out - only if you're squeezing excessively! It actually opens up your eyes a lot more and makes your lashes actually visible, if you don't curl them nobody'll see them.

I hope that helped! :) Good luck!! If you need a more detailed explanation of the pictures application, feel free to message me!ASIAN EYES : I need makeup help.?

With eyeliner..close one eye and with the other open apply it. For Asian eyes I think that a dark liquid eyeliner on top with a medium thick line and wings out on the outer corner of the eye is gorgeous.

Don't bother applying eyeliner on the bottom lid..but if you do using a pencil looks best because it isn't as harsh..and two harsh lines can close the eye.

As for your eyelashes, you can go to a salon and get eyelash extensions that last for quite awhile. However, if you have sensitive eyes they may irritate them. They aren't that expensive at all either.

When using mascara, use a lengthening/volumizing formula. Actually, I've found that curling mascara such as Sky High Curves by Maybelline lengthens very well, as well as curls. I start from the inside corner and work my way out. I apply several coats without letting each coat dry. The tips of eyelashes are practically invisible, so really work the mascara wand at the very tip to give more length. Also, really work from the base of the lash up. My mascara wand usually touches the upper rim of my lid and I curl the wand inward as I stroke it up. Then I work on the upper parts of the lashes.

I hope this helps a bit!!!
i'm asian too and i deal with the same problems you do, except i have some sort of double eye-lids but they're retarded in a way lols but instead of using eyeliner, you should just use some dark brown or black eye shadow to define your eyes because eyeliner is to thick and eye shadow gives that defining yet natural look (put lotion or something on so it'll last longer). for your eye lashes, dont ever use an eye lash curler because it makes them look smaller and kind of retarded (you'll loose a lot of eye lashes in the process too). instead, you should just put on the mascara in a way that lifts your lashes. do that everyday from now on and your lashes will gradually look lifted/slightly curled in a natural way. using a curler makes it look unnatural (if you have short lashes).
    Check out snowkei on spectra.net

She also has uneven eyes and one appears to be monolid. With the right makeup technique and especially false lashes you can create the illusion of really big eyes. Hope it helps

    http://specktra.net/showthread.php?t=601鈥?/a>
a liquid liner is great for making thinner lines for your upper lid and false eyelashes can give you a sutle eyelash extension. there's tape now you can use to get more of a crease in your upper eyelid.
go to http://www.marykay.com/micheleleahjones and get a virtual makeover. Find out which colors are right for you and see application techniques.
Try bright, eye catching eyeliner--MAC shadesticks are really good. They are waterproof, too so they won't transfer to the upper part of your eye. Have you ever tried false eyelashes? You can buy them so theres only like 3 hairs per section so you don't have this huge line of falsies! Put a few on the outer corner of your eyes. That would look really pretty. And they stay on all day! I would recommend a MAC shadestick (16.50)in a bright color, try ';Royal Hue'; , Ardell individual lashes ($3), a navy blue mascara(navy will brighten and widen your eyes!), and line the inside bottom of your lid with an iridescent white liner. Stick to a nude, or light pink gloss. Since you'll have bright colors on your eyes, it'll still be subtle because you'll only get a glimpse when you blink.
i am sory i dont know i am not asian lol.

Good makeup techniques for asian eyes?

Okay, so my eyes are ver-r-r-ry difficult. I am asian, so my crease doesn't run all the way to the inner corner, and you can't see my tear ducts. I do have a tiny bit of a crease, but it only goes to the middle of my eyelid. Also, I have kindof small eyes so it's easy to make them look even smaller. For example, I can't wear eyeliner on my water line. It sortof works if I jsut put it on the outer corner of my lower lash line, but it always makes me look like I have dark circles. It's always hard for me to find makeup techniques that work for my eyes, if anyone has any tips or suggestiong on eyeshadow for asian people, like how to make my eyes look bigger, I would much appreciate it.

Thank you!!!Good makeup techniques for asian eyes?
Hey! I'm half asian, so I totally understand your issue-that side of my family is always complaining.....I would say, depending on where you live (hopefully near a large-ish city)... i would save up if necessary and get eyelash extensions..... they last for a couple months; you don't have to use mascara and long full eyelashes make even the smallest eyes look larger

I would avoid dark eyeliner directly on the lid- it will only make your eyes look smaller

go with a light tan/gold/white eye shadow on lightly (you can do it both above on the eyelid and below your lashes, being careful not to cover up your lashes) and you could use a little dark eyeliner on your outer edge for a little cat eye look- plus think about your eyebrows as their shape can make your eyes look bigger and also, defining your brows may help (you can get browshadow etc anywhere from walgreens to sephora)

*also remember- if you want to change your eyes- find a feature of your face you like and play it up (bright glossy lip color or soft peachy pink cheeks)

If you want a specific look, check bobbi brown/ mac cosmetics or any brand that often uses asian models and you can copy cat their look

and girl- DO NOT worry about your crease.... almond-y asian eyes are great cuz then you can just apply a smoky grey eye shadow and look super mysterious- emerald green is also super fun..... although i would steer clear of any pink or red near the eye.... has a tendency to make people look sickly/tired

sorry post is so long but hey.... there are tons of makeup tricks!Good makeup techniques for asian eyes?
Curl your eyelashes. make it long. then just put some pink eye shadow on and a little bit uv eyeliner. try opening ur eyes wide!! lol. im asian and my eyes r humungo!!! and i put on the eye shadown, eye liner, and curled my eyelashes and my eyes looked like huge lol it was really cute =]

    You're so pretty! =3

    http://www.facemaker.ca/smokyeyemakeupim…

Something like this would look nice, I think.

Some black mascara, probably a comb tip, followed by a small amount of dark grey or black eyeshadow at the bottom of your eyelid. Then dab on some silver or very light grey eyeshadow- to the rest of your eyelid.

You could wear some kohl liner too if you like! ^^

Maybe try a thicker mascara, using a brush, not a comb tip. Fill in under your eye with kohl, and over your eye with black lquid liner... Use a bright turquoise/blue/green colour eyeshadow under your eye, and a bright red or pink on your top lid. Get some glitter, or little stick on gems to add a dramatic effect. For parties or nights out?

Your eyes are beautiful anyway though, you don't need any makeup.

Even so, a simple bit of kohl and a small amount of mascara would suit you fine.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/switch/slink/images…Makeup tips..im asian (pics included)?
Hmm, try eyebrow threading, it's real quick, easy, and if you get it done by a professional it looks perfect. Some make-up tips would be to wear mascara (you don't need too much) and some eye shadow, then some black eyeliner to make your eyes stand out more, oh and some blush would be cute otherwise you're really pretty!
Try using a nice light green eyeshadow and some eyeliner to make it stand out! I know plucking hurts, it hurt ike a mother the first time I did it, but as you start getting use to it, it hurts less. Try plucking in the showers or right when you get out. That's the time when your pores are more open and it's easier for the hairs to come out.
Look. We are not curious as to your nationality nor race. Makeup does not have any preference for race nor nationality so please get off of this. You're really pretty!

And oh my goodness gracious hahah your complexion is...

    Well, you're lucky!

    Try to go to ILurveMakeUp.Com.

She's Asian and has really great makeup ideas.

Try either a charcoal liquid eyeliner (Powder wetted with eyliner brush) or eggplant (deep purple),

And go for a light, shimmery pink eyeshadow on the lid and a light purple as the accent in the crease (I reccomend mineral powder, loose shadow).

Be sure you use the light shimmery pink eyeshadow directly under your eye and under your bottom lashes.

    Good luck.(:
try a foundation that will make your skin look darker , dont go mental though cause it wont match anywhere else. put pencil eye liner on youeye lids only a thin line and lots of mascara . bronzer is good too .

tryy wearing fake tan , even if its just instant it makes a hugeee difference ! more confidence and everything.. why dont you go to a beautician with your mam and both get them waxxed mine are only 6 pound and i get mine waxed and tinted x
You MUST get those brows waxed.

I know you wrote about how that is not an option for you, but they are screwing up your whole pretty face.

Get 20 bucks and go to Supercuts and get those dang things tamed.

You are old enought to disobey your mom on this one... it is your face, and GIRL those brows are really ******* it up.

That is total honesty from me!
you could are use eye makeup like eye shadow black color or eyeline but i think you dont need makeup cause you are look pretty! and that's it for your eyes...now if you want pretty eyebrow look up sites on how to pluck your eyebrows.

if you pluck your eyebrow after u get out of the warm shower..it doesnt hurt as bad.

you could also wear coverup to even out your skin tone.

try straigtning your hair too!!I think youll be even more beautiful when you put makeup on!

    best answer??please? :D
I would have to say you would look good with gold around your eyes for a nice daytime look, then at nighttime maybe a smokey eye look. Blush would also look good on you. You should use black or brown eye liner, but not too much. Your hair looks nice, but keep with the golds and elegant colors like that.
I think ud look pretty with black eyeliner(bottom and a lil on top) and mascara. I think ur eye brows r just fine and yea plucking hurts like really bad but if u pluct then put a cold wash cloth on it it frezzes the pain and ur good to go.
I honestly don't think you need much in the way of makeup. If you do decide to do something definitely use a neutral tone and nothing too dark or heavy. My girlfriend looks her best when she's barely wearing any makeup.

maybe a little more eyeliner but otherwise i think u would look great w/ that
you do not need make up you ae a pretty girl....natural if you must because make up is to hide flaws and bring out certain features not hide who you are and what you look like NO BLACK make up eewww

Try a bit of smokey eyes...

    http://www.facemaker.ca/christinafr.jpg
silver eyeliner and just regular mascara. DO NOT USE BLACK EYELINER!! everyone in this whole world uses it and dont you wanna stand out? silver works with everyone.
go to the beauticion and get your eyebrows shaped if you dont like them

    foundation

    bronzer

    eyeliner (black)

    mascara
maybe give your self a more defined brow a different chap and use eyeliner on your top eyelid and pur more towards the end of your eyelid.
use liquid liner to line the top part of your eyelashes, where they grow out.

it makes your eyes look fuller.

and also try using some mascara and eyeliner ;)
I think you're very pretty already. I'd say just some clear lipgloss and black eyeliner %26amp; mascara. But don't over do it.
you can never go wrong with black
lucky u you dont need mascara or anything big just maybe a little bit of white and then maybe a light pink or brown over the whitre on your eyelid
    black eyeliner and mascara

with any two shades of eyeshadow

    get your eyebrows threaded
your cute do not change nothing
Branch out from those brown and black pencils and go for other deep shades. Sapphire, plum, and hunter green all look amazing next to dark eyes. Drugstore lines like Cover Girl carry beautiful blackened jewel tone colored liners, also. Cover Girl's Perfect Point Plus liner in Midnight Blue makes dark eyes dazzle. Another alternative is Revlon's new line of Bedroom Eyes Powder Liner. These are great for a smoky eye look, and a simple as swiping on liner thanks to the sponge tip applicator.

Traditional makeup instructions will tell you to put the next-to-lightest shade on your lid, the medium shade in your crease, the lightest shade on your brow bone to highlight, and then add the darkest color to your outer v. That's not the case with Asian eye makeup tips.

If you start out with the darkest color near your lash line and work your way up in a gradient that ends with the highlight color just under your brows, you'll add much more sophistication to your look than attempting to add dark color to a crease that isn't there. The look will be smoother and sexier. You can then finish with your dark liner and mascara.

One other placement suggestion is to place a light highlight color on your inner lid, closest to your nose, fade over into a slightly darker shade, then to a darker shade on your outer lid. In this case, there would be no need for a darker crease shade. You would, however, still want to apply a highlight color to your brow bone.

    Creating a Crease

Some girls still prefer to create a crease for a different eye look. Where the crease would be, they apply a gray or brown shadow a few shades darker than their skin. Following traditional makeup tips, they then apply the lighter lid color and a highlight under the brow. For extra definition, an even darker gray or brown could be added to the outer v and swept down to extend below the lower lashes.

If you really prefer the eyelid crease but don't want to make the effort to create one with makeup every morning, you may want to consider Asian eyelid surgery, also known as Blespharoplasty.

    Mascara and Lashes

The first step to working with Asian lashes is to curl them since they're typically straight. Two of the most popular eyelash curlers are Shu Uemura's and Shiseido's. For a low-end alternative, consider Maybelline's plastic purple one.

If you're going out or just want to fix up for no good reason, you can add drama to your eyes with just a few individual lashes on the outer corners. They won't overwhelm your peepers and will add a flirty feel to your gaze.

    Colors and Finishes

As far as colors go, Asian skin tones usually look best in muted colors. That's why Asian girls pull off the smoky look so effortlessly. Asian skin tones in combination with dark eyes and hair allow you to carry off even the darkest colors, even black eye shadow. Neutrals like gold, bronze, and brown are good choices for daytime wear.

If you're dying to wear color, you can! You may want to avoid very light, icy pastels because your hair and eye color will overwhelm them; the lightest colors may wash you out. Instead, go for colors in the medium-to-dark range on your lids (you'll still want to use a light highlight color with a bit of shimmer).

Generally, Asian eyes look best with matte or satin finishes. These blend the lid into the rest of the face, rather than bringing them forward with frosts or glitters. You can bring your brow bone forward with a light, shimmery gold, however
    im Asian too x]

and everyday i wear a shimmery pink lipgloss. nothing too harsh

pluck your eyebrows. not too thin tho. x]

also, curl your eyelashes and apply lots of mascara. i use lash blast hydrofuge from covergirl. it works amazing!

your skin already looks great. just play up your eyes. they already hav a nice shape!

    for eyeshadow, i would put wite shimmer in the crease to ';open them up';

because our eyes are darker, i would suggest playing up the color with a colored eyeshadow. an olive green would look stunning on u x]

    hope this helps!
your realllly pretty. your cheeks are really light, im not sure if its the blush you use or if they are just like that but you should use a darker color of blush and use blach mascara. not too much though. i'm not sure if your interested in this or not and you probably shouldnt because once you start you have to do this like every 3 months but you can get your eyebrows waxed, u have great eyebrows but they are a little bit close together, just a little though. if i were you i wouldnt because they are so close to being perfect. plucking hurts sooo bad, i get mine waxed and it really doesnt hurt at all. just go to a professional place no matter how much it costs because last time i went to a cheaper place and it only cost 5 dollars and the lady waxed off more then half of my left eyebrow.

also, you'd look sooooo good with really straight hair and layers. definetly do that
put more makeup on ur face so people dont notice ur eyes as much

Makeup tips for asian eyes? (again)

I am half korean/spanish. My eyes are asian eyes, and I have LOW eyebrows that give me limited space to work with eye makeup. My skin is not a yellow/asian tone it's a light tan color with hints of bronze. My hair is brown and my eye color is brown, so what is a good color(s) to make my color pop. I will be chosing best answer for this one as well! -MARTY JEAN BAKERMakeup tips for asian eyes? (again)
I'm Japanese/white and have big eyelashes too. I use Maybelline Volum' Express Turbo Boost mascara and it makes you eyes look big and bright. You will probably look good with bronzes, most tan mixed Asians do. You should experiment with pinks and purples with gold tones to them, it will make your warm complexion stand out. I use green eyeliner sometimes to make my brown eyes stand out because they're a really really dark hazel. If you have any gold or green in your eyes you should try it. Makeup tips for asian eyes? Put some bronzer on your cheekbones and a rosy pink blush. In the inner corner of your eyes, put in white eyeliner or white pearly eyeshadow and that will make your eyes POP. The best colors for asians are purples, greens, and browns. I am asian as well.

ALWAYS curl your lashes! That is a must!!! even though asians have very small eyelashes.. it makes a difference!
i think asians look awesome when they line their eyes with black eyeliner on the top and bottom, kinda like just making 1 connected line around your eye, and then smoking it out or leaving it as a defined line is optional. eyeshadow looks good on asians when they just apply to the outer corners and then fade out towards the inner corners.
