Prom makeup ideas: Asian, green dress?

I don't normally wear much makeup so i'm kinda clueless about how to do my makeup for prom night.

I don't want to overdo it--if anything, I'd rather look more natural than over the top with makeup.

Just to give you an idea of how i look to take into consideration hues and shades of makeup, i'm wearing a green dress and i'm asian with an oval face, small mouth. i'd like to highlight my cheekbones and divert attention from my chin/jawline as much as possible.Prom makeup ideas: Asian, green dress?
鈼?To highlight your cheekbones...wear blush. Here's a link that will show you how to put on blush. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dOaY9v0q鈥?/a>

鈼?To put emphasis on your small lips, try wearing lip gloss or lip stick. Pink is flattering on all skin tones.

鈼?Here are different ideas on how to do your eyes: http://media.onsugar.com/files/ons1/281/鈥?/a>

鈼?Wear green eyeshadow to match the dress. Gold eyeshadow would also be a good choice. Mix green and gold eyeshadow together.

defiently dont put to much slightly dab a blush brush or something with bristles and about a centimeter or two under your eye with a color that will match your dress

use your finger to put eye shadow on if you want dip your finger in the color you want then lightly rub it on your eye lid

lipstick dont get too deep of a color but get a nice enough one to match your blush and eye shadow

since you want the natural look definetely DONT use to much lipstick or eye shadow

oh yeah i almost forgot

when you put your blush on use your hand to lightly rub it onto your skin

if you use a light red-ish color for blush and rub it in it will look extremely natural
asians look gorgeous with every makeup there is. and im asian too so i can help u.

well, if u want to draw attention away from jawline then why not to bsofter smoky eyes? but not with black. with gray or peach/golden brown?

but asian look amazing with green eyeshadow.

typical asian beauty makeup method is to highlight ur lips.either red or hot pink. or dark pink.

and just use gold/brown(gold on top brown on bottom closer to ur eyelids) with hot pink blush.

blend it very well if thats too much makeup.

or u can switch from red/hotpink/dark pink lips to peachy, light pink glossy lips.

ur choice.

good luck!
What you might want to do is go to a cosmetics counter (i.e. MAC, NARS) and get them to do a makeover on you. All you have to do is tell them what you want to look like %26amp; buy a dollar amount of their product. I've done it several times %26amp; loved everyone.
try BB creams! :)
