i dunno where to get a powder thats dark enough for me which gives me matte skin, nd i also like brown eyeshadows as it make my eyes bigger... what makeup do u suggest for me?I hav tanned asian skin nd id like to know what type of makeup would b best for me.?
Unfortunately, us women with Asian skin can't really buy drugstore brands (unless you live in Asia). Even the brands that claim to have a true match blend don't work. They tend to be too orange or too pink and look unnatural. We have to spend more money because we have to go to the department stores. However, sometimes it's not more money if you're comparing the cost per ounce, as opposed to per bottle. Also, you end up getting better quality make-up at the department stores. This is what works for me. It might not be the exact shades that work on you but at least you can get an idea and at least you'll know which make-up counters to try. Usually the people who work at the counters are really helpful and will find the right shade for you.

I'm from the U.S. and it looks like you're from the U.K. So what I recommend may or may not be available where you are. And also, the shades may be different where you are. But this is what works for me.

I recently bought Bobbi Brown oil-free compact foundation in Beige. Then I cover that with Pale Yellow loose powder. (My skin isn't extremely pale, but as a powder over a foundation, it brings out the right undertones). This is what I'm using for normal, everyday activities like going to work or shopping. The foundation goes on nicely and feels kind of moist the whole day, so it gives a natural finish. It is almost an exact match.

Clinique has good pressed powders. This has been the only brand that matches exactly with my skin tone. I would use this right now but my skin has gotten dryer and so I can't used pressed powder since it doesn't work and looks fake. But if my skin goes back to normal, I will definitely use this again for daytime use.

When I go out at night/weekends to nightclubs, I wear Estee Lauder Double-Wear foundation. http://www.esteelauder.com/templates/pro鈥?/a>

This stuff is awesome and gives a nice, matte finish. It goes on easily with a sponge. And then I just barely put a little more where I have red spots. It covers very well and stays on for hours! People can touch your face and it doesn't rub off. It's kind of thick but that's what I like when I go out at night. (Not in the daytime, though). The shade I use is slightly too brown for my skin tone, but in the summer it matches. (I don't go out in the sun much, but I sometimes end up getting a tiny bit). I think the shade I use is 2N2 Fresco, but I can't remember and don't have the bottle on me right now. But whatever the case, the make-up counter people will find the shade for you.

They also have good eye/lip shades for Asian skin tones. The lady there (who was Caucasian) was really good at doing my eye make up and apply it correctly! This can be hard to find for me because I have ';in between'; asian eyes. (Meaning I have the ';double'; eye lids but I do have the epicanthal fold).

I have Korean skin tone. (I'm half Korean, 1/8th Native American, and the rest Caucasian. But my skin tone is Korean).

The Mac that has yellow undertones tends to be too light for me and doesn't match correctly. I'm not even that dark. But it's too light. That's just me, though. I hear mixed things from other Asians as to whether it's good or not.

As far as eye makeup, the roll on eye powder stuff is horrible for me. The skin around my eyes is tight and so that stuff just doesn't stay on correctly. I avoid it at all costs.I hav tanned asian skin nd id like to know what type of makeup would b best for me.?
You should definitely use a powder from the MAC counter if you have a department store that sells MAC products go and have a word with them and they will be able to help you
i work in cosmetics and Ive found that Mac cosmetics are the best for Asian skin types because they do a large variety of colours and if you pop into a Mac boutique they will test some makeup out on you free of charge and advise you on what suits you best. you can find Mac cosmetic counters in many store like beatties, house of fraser. debenhams or Mac boutiques.

beige.
M.A.C ALL THE WAY!!

it's so hard to find foundation and powder to match my tan/yellow skin.

also--%26gt;try bobbi brown.

a lot of places don't carry a lot of yellow undertoned products. so it's hard to find a match. but i'm sure you'll find a match at either m.a.c or bobbi brown.
1. Your are so lucky being an Asian that tans. I never tan or burn.

2. Use clinique for your skin, their powder is adaptable to all skin tone. Their makeup doesnt overwhelm your skin and supplement the yellow undertone of Asian skin.

Also, I've heard that MAC's tinted moisturizer have awesome coverage and enhancement for medium skin tones.

Bobbi Brown recently came out with a new neutral colored palette. The browns inside is great for giving the asian eyes an awakened and demure look
you should use light faded male up

nothing too dark

NEVER use dark red UGLY
